We ordered the Consome Soup (Lamb Broth) and the Camarones a la Mexicana Tacos (Shrimp). We were given complimentary nachos as well. The Consome Soup (5/5) came with Tortillas which were soft and had the perfect texture to them. The lamb was tender and the broth was clear, rich in flavour and had a smooth texture. The Camarones a la Mexicana Tacos (Shrimp) (5/5) was well made. The shrimp was plump and succulent. It was complemented well with the zestiness of the sauce and the lime. Overall, we were quite pleased with how authentic this place is. We will definitely be regulars here.

This time I ordered tacos and I was surprised that they didn't have ground beef tacos, only pork, shrimp, chicken or sausage. We started with the nachos, which was served with enchilada sauce instead of salsa, but it worked. Then I had the shredded chicken tacos, which turned out to be chunks of chicken breast - not shredded - on soft, soggy tacos. The first one I lifted up fell right through the taco. It was supposed to be served with tomato sauce but all I saw was one thin slice of tomato peel in one of the tacos. It was so dry, I could barely swallow it. We mentioned it to one of the servers and she offered to replace my meal and brought me the menu again. She never came back though and my friend finished eating his dinner. When the bill came it included the food I'd returned and when we mentioned it they did remove it from the bill. On the way out I passed the server who had said she would come back to take my order and I was a bit sarcastic when I said "Thanks a lot for coming back", and her reply was "Sorry about that." I left, not impressed with either the food or the service.

Who would have thought that my first restaurant in Canada would be accidentally a vegan one, and I…read moremust say I'm pleasantly surprised. I gotta be honest, we ended up here without knowing that it was all vegan, n since I chose the place, I saw I disappointed my family for choosing such by mistake. But, these folks really changed our mind. All of the stuff we ordered were not only delicious, but we didn't really feel like we're having imitation meat. We loved and finished every bit of it. I was never much of a fan of imitation meat, but this place has made me reconsider. The service was great. Very friendly and polite folks who own/run the place. We were kinda clueless on what we were gonna order as the sunday's special menu didn't sound all that familiar. The waitress was patient with us in answering any questions we had and helped us choose the order. We need more such good service at the restaurants. It was my newborn nephew's first outing. They have a changing table which was a relief. Drink options looked attractive, we couldn't try them this time.

We may not fit the usual looking vegans and that's why perhaps as soon as we entered the girl clarified with us that we knew that this place is vegan only. The service was very slow as well Ordered a large Nachos. Multicoloured Chips and topped with vegetables, sour creams, cheeze and tons of runny refried beans. The size was definitely too much for the both of us for which we were warned. The chips good, the Cheeze not so good and vegan sour cream ok. The runny refried beans made the chips soggy. The Enchiladas - too little filling inside and again the tomatillo green salsa too runny. The flavour was very mild for us and the profound flavour was just the tomatillos. The quantity we got for the price paid was disappointing as well. The Passion Fruit cocktail was absolutely amazing. Very good Passion Fruit flavour and perfectly made and very refreshing. It was cold outside, but we enjoyed the icy drink. The restaurant has two coolers that you can buy some vegan items. We got Butler Soy Curls that are hard to find.

While we were staying overnight in Bradford, we got a craving for Mexican food and found Hacienda…read moreSanta Teresa through a quick Google search. We decided to order takeout and went with two types of tacos to share - Tacos de Mole de Pollo (chicken tacos covered in mole) and Tacos Campechanos (chorizo, grilled beef, and chicharron). Each order came with 5 tacos, so it was perfect for sharing. When we went to pick them up, the front of the building didn't really look like the entrance to a restaurant. Rather, it looked more like a door to a community centre. But once we stepped inside, the place was filled with Mexican décor and had a cozy, casual vibe. Honestly, it was one of those places you might not expect much from just based on appearances... but we were so wrong. The chicken mole tacos had a nice sweetness to them, almost like BBQ sauce, which worked really well with the shredded chicken. Simple, but tasty. The Campechanos ended up being our favourite with tender, flavourful meat and just the right crunch from the chicharron... Absolutely delicious. They also gave us two sauces on the side: one that seemed like a smoky chipotle hot sauce (and it was spicy), and the other a refreshing, minty sauce that helped balance the heat. Oh! They also have ALL YOU CAN EAT TACOS on Taco Tuesdays for only $23 (+$4 for premium options). If you're in Bradford and craving tacos, this spot is worth a try.

I had the flautas with rice that I enjoyed so much. Their green and red sauces are tasty. The complimentary tortilla chips with pico de gallo are delicious.
