We've tried several dishes, including quesadilla and then fajita, as well as some desserts, and they were very, very flavorful. And considering that this is a vegan restaurant, they've captured the flavors very nicely. We really enjoyed it. Plus, they had some kid meal options, and my child's taco came on a little dinosaur stand, which added to the whole experience of being there with a child. The service was fantastic, very attentive. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to go there again when we are in Barrie.

I was soooo tired from driving and the service was so sweet and considerate of my zombie state. The sopasitos were great and the barbacoa was so flavorful and chicken-like! My son and I were both surprised it was all vegetable-based yet still had great texture and flavor.

And it's not crispy at all. I told the waiter. He bought L back the food inside for about 2 minutes. And returned the same plate. ( I don't expect that they will remake a new one. But at least make it hot. It is fried items. It is not hard to re-fried it.) the food came back in warm temperatures. I don't think you can reheat any food hot in 2 minutes. On top they charge minimum 18% service charge. I'm very up set and not happy with this. The waiter is nice but not the food. My friend ordered this bowl of meal it's about $62. All meats is dry except the shrimps. The tortillas also dry. It's really bad quality for this price and charge 18% tip on top.

I would go again to try their other food items. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the view of the waterfront.

I love Mexican food, and as someone who has had AUTHENTIC Mexican (my cousins are Mexican..so I'm not talking Taco Bell here..) I was very excited about the prospect of going to Mexicano's. When we arrived, it was about 8pm on a Saturday night so it wasn't very busy (the weather was crap as well..) so you'd THINK that the service would have been a little more "on spot".. It was just us and another table of 2 and they had already been served. We finally ordered a couple of Dos Equis (tasty!) and took a look at the menu. They started us off with some nacho chips and homemade salsa.. a little watery but tasty and SPICY! Although intrigued by the section entitled "STREET TACOS".. we elected to go with a combo platter for 2 which had a variety of various foods on it.. all were delicious.. and there was a very good variety of menu items. We couldn't even finish the whole thing as there was more than enough food for two (and we LOVE our food..) The only complaint I would have is the service. Had it been better, they totally could have made more money from us.. we would have at least had another beer.. The decor is bright and colourful albeit a bit "worn".. but very fiesta like. The staff was friendly and nice enough.. just didn't see enough of them! All the food is freshly made on premise - the place is owned by 2 Mexican brothers and the quality is very good. All together, with 4 beers and food for 2, it was under $50 so it was a decent deal as well!! I'll go back. The food is delicious and I'm craving some Mexican right now..... yum!
