No cheese melt. Disappointing considering its supposed to be their thing. Bathroom is locked but hey its downtown Barrie and likely nessessary.

Great poutine! I found this place randomly when exploring downtown and decided to try it. I will…read moredefinitely be going back soon. I got the Veggie Nacho poutine and it was delicious, like combining poutine and nachos, two of my favorite junk foods. And junk food is an accurate description - the menu said there were about 1200 calories in most of the options. That did not deter me though! What I was most excited about was that there were vegetarian options here, with vegetarian gravy that they told me is mushroom-based. The vegetarian gravy was good, it tasted like your typical mushroom gravy. There was traditional style vegetarian poutine and four other vegetarian options with more toppings. There were also tons of other options with meat and meat gravy for people who want that. The service was good, the guy working there was really helpful and I got my food in about ten minutes. The inside decor was really interesting so I wasn't bored waiting either. There was a small seating area inside, but you can also get take out which I opted for. I would recommend trying this place out sometime!

The girl working was super nice and suggested she can make a pogo in a bun. I declined went to subway (same place) the customer service was atrocious at the subway but that's besides the point. Came back asked for the pogo in a bun and let me tell you it was actually pretty good. I genuinely appreciate the effort and creativity. Generous amount of onions in the bun huge plus, it's like she knew me ))) . Customer service 10/10. I'll be back for the proper hot dog next time.. or two! :)

It's an excellent place to stop. It's so good I even saw employees from the adjacent Subway get their lunch there. The classics are solid. The cheese dog is worthy of the name, and the poutine will make Canada proud. They are very generous with the gravy, making this a tasty proposition. The signature dishes are the Rise to Fries dog and rose to fries poutine, both featuring their "secret sauce" and pickles. Both are great and preferred over the plain classics. The sauce has a nice herby flavor that works well with the sour taste of the pickles. It's really worth a try. Finally, the lady at the counter was warm, friendly, and energetic, like she actually wanted to work there, a rare phenomenon in this industry.

Food was amazing - so delicious and my fiance said it was the best he ever had! I do have to echo the other reviews it is a bit pricey for the serving size. We got 2 chocolate milkshakes, 2 orders of halibut & chips, 1 small gravy & 1 small coleslaw and with tip it was $75.85.

A quaint little fish and chips shop in Barrie, ON. It is your slightly elevated option for "fast…read morefood" as thee menu is diverse but the service is quick. You can dine in (which we did) but you can also pick up and they offer delivery. They offer halibut, haddock, cod and basa for their fish but also have a wide selection of burgers, sandwiches and my personal favourite as a Montrealer, the poutine! We had the halibut and chips with a side of coleslaw, burger and fries and an extra order of just fries. My friend enjoyed her fries that were hand cut in house with some vinegar. The fish was crisp and the batter wasn't too thick and I loved the coleslaw that's made in house! I definitely recommend getting the coleslaw with any fish as it helps to cut the richness of the fried food. They also have a decent selection of ice cream which I did not have but my friend did. Overall, the price was friendly and the food was good and the portions were extremely generous (for someone with my appetite). I'd recommend this place for people looking for good fish and chips in the area!
