This place is amazing!! I'm always looking for a great men's hair place and this it. I took my 12yr old son here today and Alex gave him a stylish haircut without being too trendy. My son has always had long hair and is super apprehensive and nervous about cutting it and didn't want to draw attention to himself since he's in junior high. Alex took the time to explain what he was doing and how to style it. Very detailed cut taking his time so there were no weird lines. The fade was perfect. My son loved it and said Alex was the best barber in the world! This is an amazing feat for my son. Normally he's super upset and we are all unsatisfied whenever his hair gets cut. The cost and atmosphere are also amazing! They take walking but don't go here on a Friday night when you have a date planned with your wife and you don't have an appt...like my husband did...he waited for over 3hrs because he was digging the atmosphere but finally had to leave without a cut but will try again with an appt. Took hubby here to get his first OR haircut. Came here based off their 5 star reviews. The barbers here were incredibly friendly and professional! AMAZING at their craft! I watched them do straight shaves and several cuts as my hubby had his hair cut. Wonderful skill with all hair types from I could see. They were working on beard trims, straight shave, head shave and a fro as I waited. Everyone seemed very happy with the end result. I believe my hubby's barber was Freddy.... frankie?... I think Freddy. He was super cool. My 2 year old started crying bc he couldn't go sit with his daddy as he got his hair cut. Every time I go in here it's always got a steady flow of people in and out of here. The service is great! I've been coming here about once a month for the last 6 months now and I won't be going anywhere else. Definitely make an appointment ahead of time unless you have a lot of free time to wait as a walk-in. The decor is like an old barber shop museum and they even have an arcade game and a candy machine! My barber is Jonah and my haircut is rather complex - and he's knocked it out every single time. I have been coming to this shop for a long time and had a certain barber I'd make appointments with. The barber I'd see left tge shop. I tried to make the best of it and still go there. Had one barber that did a good job. But today wasn't the day. I made an appointment at 10 AM. I get in and state who I had an appointment with that was made two days ago. I find out that the appointment that was booked the day before and not today. So I was treated as a walk. Out of the respect for the barber that was there before and isn't now. I have never had a good experience when getting my son's haircut, until today! I'd honestly given up on it, so we had just been buzzing his hair at home. He really wanted a specific style, so after reading all the great reviews I have this place a shot. His hair looks amazing!!!!! We went on a Saturday without an appointment, so understandably we had to wait. The wait wasn't terrible though, and they cut his hair very quickly. We will definitely be back! Got a cut from the owner last week, I had just got my eyes dilated cause I was at the eye doctor. I was questioning his work because it took him 5 minutes to cut my hair.... he didn't do a single thing I asked. Told him I wanted a 2 high fade on my part side and a comb over blend. Pretty easy hair cut. He didn't blend it and didn't fade it. Just shave a two all around. Kinda mentioned that the blend didn't look the best and he kinda ignored it. If I could choose no stars, I would. I was hoping to get my son a good haircut for prom. If you go, make an appointment. It's not like a typical walk-in barbershop. Sat for an hour before we were even greeted. Kept thinking we would be next but then an appointment would come in or someone would go on break. It was a beautiful spring evening when I was driving through Gresham, having a few hours until work, and I decided to stop by this barber shop after many recommendations from many different people. Upon parking my car and making sure it was properly locked and my valuable possessions out of sight I began my journey from my car to the front door. But I was soon greeted by a flight of stairs! With my brow crinkled in concentration I valiantly took on the first stair step and continued my march up the seemingly never-ending staircase. The path from the top of the staircase to the front door of the barber shop was a perilous one indeed, whilst approaching the door I stopped for only the briefest of moments to look back on just how far I'd gotten. With my chest full of pride from yet another successful journey I entered the shop and sat down on their leather couches and waited my turn. The owner Phil always cuts my hair exactly how I want. They can cut any type of hair here and fade and tape and line up ruler straight.
