The students were all very professional. My attendant was knowledgeable, gentle, and accommodating and provided me with a very relaxing and enjoyable "spa-like" experience. I moved to Odenton in July of 2017 and just now got a haircut! LOL I called at about 8:40 this morning, surprised to find that they open at 8. I asked for an appointment after noon, and she offered 1:30 - great. I did wait a few minutes for her to finish the client before me, but I could tell she really cares about giving the best possible result, which held true when she spent nearly an hour on my simple wash, cut & style. Sunny is just delightful to talk to, so I enjoyed my time in her chair. The only thing I specified was to keep my bangs just touching my eyebrows, and I am pleased with them being exactly right. I didn't give any other real direction, just shared that I don't like a lot of layers because I like to put my hair up when it gets hot. She told me, "You need a little bit of layers because it's thin," which is true and to which I agreed. Before the first cut, she held up the ends and showed me about 3/4" and said the splits needed that much to come off, and again I agreed. The end result, while not a style I can or would do myself except for special occasions (I don't curl my hair otherwise) is very flattering - my daughter and SIL said so! ;) I'll post an update in a couple of days, after I wash and blow-dry it myself - that is the real test, for me.

I asked for a roller set and a medium heat blow dry for a voluminous look. She gave me a moussed flex rod set. Curls were tighter than I wanted. Completely unprofessional. Don't recommend at all. I was there for over 3 hours. I genuinely don't think she knew what she was doing. She was using a hard brush and I had to ask for a softer brush. Ripping my hair. My hair was as stiff as ever. I can't wait to wash it out. These hair dressers nowadays don't specialize in hair care anymore. Very disappointed because I had higher expectations.
