I wanted to love my hair. And I've tried for a few weeks now to convince myself it'll get better but no. I have LONG hair and I love my hair it's one of the things I don't want messed up. I said NO LAYERS IN THE BACK I want nothing cut in the back I want my length kept. She ignored that completely and gave me the choppiest layers of my life. I genuinely can't fix my hair without chopping off like five inches, which is something I wanted to avoid. And not to mention the "balayage" looks grown out. I got balayage touch up done and there's weird pieces that don't even blend in at all. Terrible experience and I wish I could get my money back. I'm really sad because I miss my hair. There's no excuses and I tried to be nice about this but I hate my hair a few weeks later still. And realize it's just a terrible job done. Don't recommend this place at all. read more

Not the place I pictured when I came here for a cut (had a bob that got too long, so had to even it out), but the service was great, Ozzy and the rest of the staff were wonderful. Might make another trip out here for my next trim! read more

Tim did an awesome job cutting my hair today. This will be my first time in a salon and it was a wonderful experience. With a very friendly staff and a calming environment, I'd highly recommend. read more

The owners (brothers) of this salon used to be in Arundel Mills. I am partial to Tungay, who has cut my long wavy/curly hair for several years. I finally got the nerve to cut it all off and he took the picture I showed him and proceeded to deliver on what I wanted. He did a great job and I would highly recommend him or his brother Tim. And there is a young lady who does awesome hair massages while washing your hair. Don't know her name but she makes me want to return sooner just for the head massage. read more

In say's walkings welcome, but I walked in today because someone recommended me this place, and this friend also didn't make an appointment. It was one person at the salon only and the gentleman who cuts hair told me I can only be there by appointment. I didn't feel welcome at all. Maybe he didn't need new costumers. read more

I have been going here for 10 years and love the atmosphere. My girls and I get our hair done by Tim but have used other stylists when not available and they are also amazing at doing hair. Angela Anderson read more

Evada Hair Bar - Tim's amazing work! Took my ugly red hair and made my hair beautiful again. - Hair Salons Near Me - Hanover, Maryland

I've been going to Evada hair bar for 2 years now. The first time I went to them they fixed an emergency mess up from another salon and turned a 0 into a 10 and after getting a balayage done for those two years I decided I wanted to go dark and Tuncay will for ever be who I trust with my hair. He never disappoints and is always so nice and welcoming. read more

The overall exepreice was so great, I got the hair color and cut. Everyone at the Evada Hair Bar are friendly. i am returning again.

Tim's the GOAT! hadn't gotten my hair cut in almost 4 years and Tim was able to cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. 10/10 Recommend

Tim colored my hair and cut it into a short bob. He is a hair whisperer--just amazing. He styled my hair while I was visiting family in Maryland and did a fabulous job with the cut and color. Both the staff and the clients were friendly and delightful, and the decor was fun and modern. So there was a great, upbeat vibe. The Evada Hair Bar provides great quality and offers high value for the price. If I lived in Maryland, Tim would be my regular stylist, and when I revisit, I hope to see him again. read more

FYI they moved to this new location about 4 months ago and their name is now Evada Hairbar. Phone number is still the same - just name change. (A nail salon was originally here but moved to another location within the mall.) So needed some self-care and I thought I was heading to a nail salon. I haven't been here in years. Plus no, I didn't check the directory - was on automatic-mode. When I looked up I surprisingly realized it's now a hair salon. Color and cut was also part of my self-care to-do so I went for it. Skunk hair no mo'. Movin' in. Impressed. Ozzy is a gem. Personable approachable focused efficient. A seasoned well-rounded professional hair stylist. The overall price is very fair for color, shampoo, cut, and blowdry/style. If I lived in the area, he'd be my new hair alchemist and stylist. Point blank. Since I was in the area to care for a family member, I took the opportunity to spend some available time looking human again. Ozzy helped me. It's amazing how a color and cut service can boost morale. I've sat on many hair chairs and there are a very few that can do it all - Ozzy is one of them. He preps properly before brushing on the hair color. The color mix blended seemlessly with my existing shade. His hair massages during shampoo and conditioning were spa-grade. I almost drooled. The cut I wanted I got and when I finally washed my hair, there weren't any uneven areas. Thumbs up. His blowdrying/styling skills gave my hair life for 3 days. And I needed those days to focus on my family member. Much appreciate. Fun fact I was fortunate to meet his daughter and he manages/styles her hair. First off she is beautiful. Also no surprise, her hair looks healthy and effortless. If you're searching for a stylist within this area, check if Ozzy is available. Their new location is facing the children's play area and Medieval Times. I've also provided the mall's map. read more

I am new to the area and needed my thick, curly, salt & pepper, dye-free hair styled. I read reviews and called on a Monday to see if they took walk-ins. Asli took me right away. I am very picky about my hair and was pleasantly surprised Asli did such an awesome job. Everyone in the shop was friendly too. I will be a returning customer. read more

After being blonde for the last 8 years I decided to go brunette. My hair artist was detailed in explaining to me the process and up cake of this big change. I won't lie it's always an anxiety filled time trying a new place to have your hair cut let alone changing your entire color but he put me at ease and did a phenomenal job. Looking forward to visiting again in December for the upkeep. read more

I've been getting by hair done by Tim for years. In fact my mother and son do as well. He does an excellent job with all of our different hair types. You can count on him to get your cut, color, and style right. In my time there at his salon I've watched all the stylists there and they all are skilled and have excellent results. read more

Highly recommend Evada! Everyone was so kind and friendly. I'm always anxious about trying a new hair salon, so I haven't been to one in a few years. Tim did an amazing job styling and coloring my hair, I am so happy with the way it turned out! It was exactly what I wanted! read more

Awesome hair salon. they make sure you have what you need while also giving your space to chill. My stylist was Tuncay, he gave me a great quality color service & curly cut. Also, I like the setup and spacing of the shop itself, it has lots of natural light which was pleasant since i went early in the morning- and colorful glass lamps hanging which give the shop a nice vibe. read more

Visited the salon 2 weeks ago. 4 months postpartum and desperately needed a haircut. Called and was able to get a same day appointment with Tim. The wash was great, especially with the headache I had. It relieves some tension. Tim was phenomenal. Got to know me and asked me what I have done in the past and what I now wanted. I wanted a simple cut, to my shoulders. Haircut came out great. Will definitely be returning. read more

I highly recommend that Evada Hair is the best place to have your hair done. I have blonde hair which can be tricky to touch up roots and to do high lights but I was never disappointed. The brothers know the current styles and perfect colors needed. I will never trust another place with my hair. Please go to Evada hair bar. read more

Tuncay and the stylists here are INCREDIBLE! I have been going to see Tuncay for decades because not only is he a master stylist in cutting all types of hair (long, short, thick, thin, curly, straight, etc...) but also his blowouts are second to none. He has a special way he does layers that makes your hair look lively, fresh, and give an extra bounce. I live in Chicago and have plenty of stylists and salons near by, but still I fly to Maryland to get my hair cut, colored and styled by him. Highly, highly recommend this place! read more

I've gone twice for a cut and each time have come away very pleased. This is the first time in my life I'ved decided to stick with a hairstylist after seeing the results. Gohkan, the hairstylist I've seen, asked me to trust him with the style he suggested. My hair grows quickly, so I thought, why not-even if I don't like it-it'll grow out soon enough. I wasn't dissapointed at all and now have a stylist I can stick with. read more

I have been getting my hair cut here for 5 months now. Top notch skill at very reasonable prices. Interesting conversations every time! $25 for shampoo and haircut for men. I have never made an appointment and never waited more than 5min. Highly recommended! read more

Tim and his crew do an outstanding job on my families hair. My wife won't go anywhere else for coloring (secrets out I guess) and both my kids come here as well. Soon my grandson will be part of the next generation. If you're looking for a great place for your hair, this is it! read more

I said no layers and my hair was chopped. My head was burned by the color. Could it be worse?

This place is terrible! At least for men or just to me...I asked the guy for a high fade. And had to tell him 3 times to cut more. Which IMO it should be that difficult to get right. It was all uneven and just a terrible cut in general I'd rather have the hair do my mom gave me when i was in 7th grade which i wish i had a pic to show you haha. And on top of that the guy gave me and my wife attitude. I've had my share of bad and good cuts but this takes the cake as the worst. Do yourself a favor go to the other salon in this mall. You may have to wait longer or pay a little bit more but its the better deal. screw this place go somewhere else. read more

I came here because this place had great reviews, several of which mentioned Tuncay, so that is who I booked with and he did NOT disappoint!! He did an absolutely fabulous job with my haircut. I showed him a couple of photos of what I had in mind but also told him to just do what he thought would look good and I don't think my hair has ever looked better. I've found my place and will definitely be booking future cuts/styles with Tuncay. He's wonderful and I highly recommend him! read more

I was a walk-in, just wanted a shampoo/cut/blowdry. I usually just go to hair cuttery as I get simple cut/trims, but I decided to try something new so I looked up a local salon with good reviews. Tim was great. I told him what I wanted, and he showed me before he did any cuts and explained what he was doing which I appreciated. Shop is in a nice location. It was overall a great experience and I'll be going back. read more

It was mommy daughter concert night for me and my five year old, and even though they get busy being in the mall on a weekend with people walking in all the time they did a magnificent job of taking care of my lil girl and i, results were great but mostly was about giving her a princess experience and Tuncay, with a daughter of his own, was very understanding of her distractable character :P we both left looking good! read more
