However the staff is great and Dr Patel in particular makes himself very available to patients either in-person or via e-mail. I find him very attentive to my concerns and as an overseas traveler, he ensures I have what I need in my trips. He also ensures follow-up as necessary with labs and takes the time to explain the findings. He and his staff are prompt regarding prescriptions and in the past were also very helpful getting insurance approvals for certain medications. A long drive but worth the attention patients receive.

Commonwealth Urology is an insurance mill not a care facility. Uncaring, rude, robotic staff and doctors churn through 4-5 patients an hour with little care other than how much they can bill them.

My fiancé's mother was only supposed to stay here temporarily while her home was fixed up to be safe for her. They had patients take cloths in before they are admitted to be sanitized. I thought that sounded like a good procedure. I was wrong they lost a large amount of her cloths. They must have given them to another patient because she never saw them again. She has called hysterically, crying every day and night. They left her in dirty diapers for 3-4 hours even though she had been asking to be changed. My fiancé had to call and tell them they needed to go change her because she was calling us sayin it was hours and no one would help. Tonight when she called us she had no blanket and was freezing. One night they told her literally " shut up and stop pressing the help button and left her soiled for hours. I was on the phone and heard a lady say "stop yelling shut up and go to bed ,I'm not changing you right now". multiple calls to the managers she finally was changed. I rate this place a negitve 1000. The are rude take no responsibility for their actions, and are horribly unprofessional. I have never been so disgusted in my life. These people are money hungry liars and manipulators that only care about getting patients checks and dismiss all family concerns they are the worst place for you family. If you love them don't ever do this to them please they don't care and aren't compassionate they are terrible terrible people and no one deserves that. The basic human necessities are not even met here. Think twice before you allow your loved ones to go here and if they already do make sure you visit because if not they will neglect your family even more. Simply disgusted. DRCE provides a comprehensive program to evaluate whether the person is capable of driving, designs a system to get them back on the road and modifies vehicles in their state of the art shop to accommodate special needs. In the past therapists working with the disabled and vehicle modifiers adapting vehicles for the disabled worked in different silos and talked past one another. DRCE integrates the entire process. Not only does DRCE service wounded warriors and other disabled persons wishing to get back on the road, they also provide independent driver evaluations for senior citizens. In my case, my wife and I wanted to provide other family members assurance that a senior family member was still capable of driving locally to familiar locations during the day. DRCE put this senior family member through a series of mental agility, coordination and on the road evaluations then delivered a comprehensive report on this persons ability to drive. The two co-founders, Josh and Tammy, are on site you work with them during the evaluation. Highly recommended for anyone who is disabled and wants to drive again or who wants to evaluate the driving capabilities of a senior family member.

My wife had a serious bacterial infection previously and pain (not bladder pain or pain similar to UTI which she is familiar with - but pain around her private parts - a deep "different" type of pain). Dr. AJ was busy, clearly, but he listened and he and his nurse checked her out. They took a urine sample. He prescribed Uribel. Another general doctor said that Uribel has serious side effects and it does not appear, from the symptoms described, she has an UTI - that doctor believed Uribel was unnecessary. I sent an email to their office and explained: - We did a Sonogram, - Another doctor recommended a urinalysis and urine test for culture and sensitivity and we have not done these yet. - An infectious disease specialist said the bacterial medicine will not interfere with the results. - We still have the pain described within our visit. - Dr. Al-Jaburi mentioned a particular test that could be done at surgical center. Can we set this up as we prefer having a definitive test over taking medicine to alleviate pain? They responded, "take the medicine first. Don't rush the procedure. Schedule another visit if you want". We did NOT take the medicine. Another urologist said Uribel is a powerful medicine and said it did not appear to be a suitable choice without knowing more. The same urologist performed a test and then stretched her uretha and alleviated the pain that may have been caused by the bacterial infection. I realize judgement was applied and this can be imperfect. Perhaps Uribel was a good choice but it appears probably not. Regardless, we felt that it was a hurried decision to prescribe that without knowing more.
