Like me, this property has seen better days and could use a little help but it seems sturdy enough and clean even though it's showing its age. It's a long way from home and I'm not sure I'd plan to vacation here with my lovely bride but it's only me and still a ways off from sketchy. room rate is a bargain and the property is amenitized accordingly: single floor with interior corridors. non-smoking rooms with quiet and efficient air handlers plus exhausting bathrooms. beddings and towels are clean, the furniture is in good repair and the TV and the door locks work. water pressure is good and breakfast is available across the way for a modest sum but know that the coffee is thin.

As always, wish people would pick up after their dogs. Facility is clean, lots of travel brochures and free coffee too. The grounds are beautiful, and spacious. There is plenty of room to stroll, let the dogs sniff and explore (on leash) and burn off energy. Take a walk up to the metal sculptures behind the facility for a perfect photo opportunity - the dog photos in the sculpture trails were some of the favorites from the trip. !! Welcome to Missouri - the woman staffing the office was really friendly and helpful. This is a small independently owned and operated rv park with just a few FHU back in sites. Our site was waiting for us when we arrived. A gravel space with a concrete patio. Hook ups were spread out in the back drivers side corner. The electric pedestal is far back on the lot and it was almost too far to hook up. Had to back our fifth all the way to the stops at the back of the site and our 30' power cord barely reached the plug in. Our site (7) had shared water connects with site 6. Decent pressure but always a concern when sharing services. The sewer drain also in the back corner, was closer than the power but it took our extra extension (25' total) to make the hook up. The site sloped down from front to back, it worked but required manual leveling to get it to zero front to back and left to right. The back of our rig was so high off the ground I had to install our stabilizer jacks on the rear to help negate some of vibrations. Our spot was fully in the shade in the afternoons which definitely helped keep our rig cooler on the triple digit days. This spot is literally in town and only a few blocks in any direction to services, supplies, groceries and fuel. They do offer a veterans discount which was appreciated on our stay. Management is not on site, but was accessible by phone and via text. Wifi worked well and as intended. Power did go out briefly on our first night but we had no issues after that. 3.5 Stars rounded up for its close proximity to town and quiet, peaceful location. 01310
