This place makes you want to act like you're 5 stars: tip great, be nice, buy drinks, order pizza. This place deserves your attention. It's better than your phone. Bring your dog, you know you should. Sit at the bar. Buy shots , tip better. If this place disappears, everyone loses

I had a great time!

Every neighborhood needs a Barbara's Pavillion; a gay dive bar that welcomes all, and all show up! You won't be dazzled by the hidden store front entrance, under whelming ambiance, or limited liquor selection, rather, the friendliness of the staff, and locals, and their fair drink prices. Known for great karaoke and spoken word on select nights of the month, Barbara's still operates as a private club, so be ready to scan your ID upon arrival. If your thing is sitting at the bar chatting up the bartender, a fun game of billiards, or a smoke with friends on the patio, you can do them all at Barbara's Pavilion. Maybe you'll see me there belting out a tune. Heads up, parking is tricky! Xoxo Lorenzo!

Fun and local gay bar. Always have a great time here. Karaoke to outside conversations, good place to meet ppl and the dive bar experience too. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Drinks are affordable than other gay bars

Tin Room is a dance club, but more so for the dancers there...while you can groove and bust a move, most of the dancing is done by the professionals here! And there are LOTS of them wandering around. Most are polite, friendly and engaging, but a few can get a bit pushy, especially as the night goes on. Nothing wild, just slightly off putting when interacting with them. This place, from inside to out, is not much to look at. The essence of a dive bar and the vibe of a gay club is the best way to describe it. It is dark, crowded, set with fog machines, lights and loud music. There are a few bars inside and one outside on the patio, which is where we got most of our drinks. The bartenders inside were a bit friendlier, but the convenience and the fresh air kept pushing us to the outside bar. With that, the drinks are strong and fairly priced, so there is that! Parking is very minimal, so definitely ride share. Overall, The Tin Room is an experience!

I remember the old Dallas Eagle on Inwood Road back in the 1990's. A great dive bar with all the charms of a Texas roadhouse with lots of men wearing painted on boot cut Wrangler jeans, cowboy boots, western hats as well as leather, uniforms. Friendly crowd that wants lots of man to man interactions drinking beer, whiskey, whooping & hollering. Only the infamous Trestle (R.I.P) could beat the Eagle back in the days of yore for the playfulness and camaraderie.   Well, Dallas Eagle has moved  farther south to a more secluded location more fit for a true roadhouse like in an El Paso Wreaking Company sort of way.  Huge building, that looks like strange, modern brutalist architecture with a faux western saloon façade, to accommodate a good crowd. Outdoor patio to smoke cigars which could be ideal for pups & their masters. Indoor long U shaped full service bar with multiscreen tv's. Draft beers, and they do have my favorite Texas Shiner Bock.  Obligatory pool table as well as a St. Andrew's cross for those into chamois deer skIn floggers, etc. Lockers to stow your gear although not sure if locks are provided. Leather Store. Amazing display cases featuring colors, memorabilia from various motorcycle, Bear, Leder organizations.  There are happy hours everyday except for Monday. Tuesday has all day discounted domestic beers & well drinks. Tons of special nights that cater to different segments of the Leather Community which you can look up on their website.  5 stars

It's very large being two stories with several rooms including the Rose Room Lounge which could almost be a separate club all by itself where they host all of their drag shows - lots of famous girls from RuPaul's drag race got their start there. There is a large outdoor deck upstairs as well as downstairs. Drinks are super cheap. This place is known as the "afties" bar because they are open until 4 AM though they will still stop serving alcohol at 2 AM The biggest downside is that they tend to charge a cover almost every night, which is pretty annoying, but I guess that's standard for Dallas. Definitely the best place to come dance if you're looking for pop music and some throwbacks

I have been to many restaurants and cocktail bars, and I have never paid 30.00 bucks for a cocktail. This is the most overpriced place on the strip. I mean, the games are fun, but the price is not worth it. The bartender called the manager, but the manager never came. The bartender said that, according to a coworker, they don't do refunds. I waited for a good hour, and a manager never showed up. This establishment gouges people.

Decided to go here for a fun drag show night out with my cousins. It started out fun, exciting, and…read morevery entertaining. The performers were very lively and gave a great show. However, it wasn't until later in the night, around 12:30am, where things took a turn. A young woman, who was visibly drunken or impaired, approached my friend at the bar. When asked if she was safe, as she could barely stand on her own and there were 4 men surrounding her, she clung to my friend and was promptly brought back to our table to assess her situation. It was apparent soon thereafter that she was not okay. She was not in control of her body and was relying entirely on my friend to sit up on the barstool. We called 911 as we were worried not only for her health, but her safety as well, unsure if this was a result of being inconsequentially drugged. While on the phone with 911, we were approached by security and the bar manager who were adamant that she must leave the premises. They were blatantly apathetic towards her safety and health, as all that seemed to matter was their image as a bar. When I asked what this security guards plan was to remedy the situation, he was frustratingly passive aggressive, purposefully misunderstanding my qualms about this woman in harms way, and did not seem to want to solve any issue in a helpful manner. They allowed a man who claimed to be related to her, along with 2 other men, carry her out and take her away before paramedics could assess her state. After the woman was taken away, we were chewed out by the "manager" and "security guard" for calling 911 and not alerting them of her condition instead. It seemed we were the ones in the wrong for looking after a woman clearly unable to speak, stand, sit, or even respond to stimuli. They did not care if this woman was okay, if she was in good care from the people who whisked her off, or seemingly if she was even alive. I'm vehemently unappreciative of how this bar handled this situation, I am sincerely hoping they learn to handle matters like this better in the future. And I pray this woman made it home safely, and unharmed. Do not go here.
