Tin Room is a dance club, but more so for the dancers there...while you can groove and bust a move, most of the dancing is done by the professionals here! And there are LOTS of them wandering around. Most are polite, friendly and engaging, but a few can get a bit pushy, especially as the night goes on. Nothing wild, just slightly off putting when interacting with them. This place, from inside to out, is not much to look at. The essence of a dive bar and the vibe of a gay club is the best way to describe it. It is dark, crowded, set with fog machines, lights and loud music. There are a few bars inside and one outside on the patio, which is where we got most of our drinks. The bartenders inside were a bit friendlier, but the convenience and the fresh air kept pushing us to the outside bar. With that, the drinks are strong and fairly priced, so there is that! Parking is very minimal, so definitely ride share. Overall, The Tin Room is an experience!

Speaking of the bartender, he was so friendly, gracious, and provided excellent service. He would check up on us every so often and would take our next round to our table. The atmosphere is inviting and clean. This "hole in the wall" is located in a small strip mall conveniently tucked in a corner. There's an AMI jukebox inside so that was fun utilizing my app to play music; however, the volume was a bit too low. The only thing I did not care for was the parking as it is very tight and shares with the other businesses in the strip mall. Overall, great place with a patio (albeit for smokers). Bathrooms were clean and well attended, lots of seating with three high tops and a few tables. If I am ever in the area again I would definitely be back!

The bar is large, as are most things in Texas. While it seems like one big open space, there are separate areas from the dance floor to pool table area, more formal bar station and even a patio. There are six distinct bars throughout, each with their own vibe! This makes getting a drink easier and cuts down on the wait, which is very appreciated by all! We spent most of our time overlooking the dance floor. When we wanted a drink, we made our way to the small corner bar. We had a favorite bartender and this was their station for the night! Speaking of drinks, they are a bit pricey, including a water, but with that, they are certainly gay-bar strong! With the size of the place, it can and does get packed, so be prepared. There is enough space, but it gets intimate the later in the evening it gets. Overall, we had a phenomenal time at Round-Up Saloon. The most memorable part, which was amazing to see and feel, was the spirit of everyone just existing and being themselves. Absolutely one of my favorite gay bars I have visited!

I ordered crab cakes and the man ordered the brisket sliders. Again it took a while to get served. The crab cakes were warm not hot and the sliders were fatty. It started to fill up with people (mostly guests from the hotel) after about an hour. We stayed and had one more cocktail each before leaving. Someone suggested coming on Friday or Saturday for the live music and livelier crowd. We'd go back for the drinks, not the food. We spent $145 with tip (food and four drinks).
