Upon entering, I noticed there are only 2 tables as you walk in. There's a small area to sit at the counter as well. You place your order at the counter. If eating in, you pay after your meal. When ordering to go, you pay when ordered. That seemed odd to me because if you're eating in, it requires you to go through the line twice! The lady working the counter/register area is very sweet. The man cooking the orders, he is quite busy and keeps a rhythm with the orders. He gets the orders out pretty quickly. Everything you need (I.e. salt, pepper, jelly, butter) is told when ordering. Ketchup is the only condiment on the table. The food tasted great. The griddled home fries were delicious with little pieces of onion and green pepper. I only had a couple of potatoes that weren't quite done enough. I've never seen such a selection of Snapple beverages in one location!! I tried a new flavor - prickly pear & white peach. LOVE PEACH! It's so refreshing! When I'm this area again, I will definitely return for a breakfast platter or sandwich.

Overall, Marino's seems a little more expensive. The Deli, for example, seems to have higher prices than most, but I think it's reflected in the quality. However, the OUI yogurt was cheaper at Marino's so it helps to know your prices. Marino's is a lot smaller than S&S, but they do a good job stocking the store. In my last review of S&S, I mentioned they did not have capers, filet mignon, or Marino's coconut Italian ice. Marino's Supermarket did have the capers and filet mignon. And although they did not have the coconut Italian ice, they did have the orange and rainbow flavors which S&S did not. There are advantages and disadvantages to both. Perhaps, if you have a large family, S&S is the better option. For smaller food shopping sprees, Marino's definitely is a good choice. 5 stars for Marino's.

Morning of the event: About 10 minutes from our scheduled delivery time, Marino's Supermarket called to tell me they were going to be 30-45 minutes late because they forgot a part of our order. They were making it as we spoke, hence I took a star away. I asked if they could deliver the order without it, but the person said they were already working on it. Luckily the party was mostly family, otherwise it would have been a big issue. They sent one person for delivery for a 15 person party. The poor guy had to take at least 3-4 trips up to our apartment to bring everything up. The food: Everything tasted great and was nicely presented. The cost: Very reasonably priced in my opinion Overall: They were OK. I hope the snafu with our missing item was a one off because otherwise they were great!

The hero was good but far from great. The pastrami needed to be sliced thinner and the coleslaw probably had cilantro in it of which I am not a fan.
