Between the work Dr. K did & the follow-up care I have received, I am getting stronger every day. His office staff is great, they helped me navigate the system between the doctor, the hospital and the VA for the first surgery. I knew what to expect for the second one and again the staff came through and made it so much easier! If you find yourself in a position of needing hip replacement surgery, I can't recommend Dr. Khasigian highly enough to do the procedure!

The first one I ever saw would pop you once in the neck and then have you lay down with a heating pad afterward. I went to him as a child and it scared me into future apprehension of chiropractors. (I was 13 years old). The second chiropractor I ever saw would twist my head to crack my neck (as I know is common in some practices) but to be real, that shit scared the crap out of me too. I thought my head would surely fall off if his hands weren't big enough to catch them. (I was 15 years old). The third chiropractor I saw was during a time that I had 9-month run-in with a severe condition of Papilledema that led to emergency brain surgery. During my first visit with this chiropractor he asked me to follow his pointer finger with my eyes as he brought his finger to my nose. Instead of my eyes crossing (as a normal set of eyes would during that exercise) one of my eyes jumped to the far side of my face. The chiropractor saw this, of course, looked concerned, didn't say much but lightly suggested I see "a doctor" not explaining much else. He did however, (KNOWING that something was seriously wrong with me) offer me an on-going treatment for arthritis of the neck that would cost me 4k (how so very nice of him ). And my butt even contemplated doing it, I was so desperate for relief! (Papilledema is swelling of the optic nerve caused by increased pressure in the brain). I proceeded to go 3 more months with my condition, due to lack of medical insurance, and endured the worst experiences of my life. I tried ONE more chiropractor after that and felt like a McDonalds cheeseburger off the $1 menu (do they even still have that?) as I was passed around, considered "done" and thrown back out the door. No one listened to me when I told them SOMETHING IS WRONG, PLEASE HELP ME. The images on the poster in the treatment room jumped out at me and I voiced this to the providers, but again-nothing. (I get that Chiropractors aren't the same as the doctors I now see at Kaiser but DAMN, you are human- correct?). My world was warped for 9 months (in total) seeing double, colors fading, lack of ability to see sharp objects, I felt high all the time, words would jump out of the computer screen at me as I was training new employees at work. I thought I guess I should see if I needed glasses? I would get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, flip the light switch on and hear the fan (indicating the switch for the light and the fan was on) but never able to see any light. Cars that were in front of me on the freeway would appear in the next lane in front of another car. I'd have to put one hand over one eye to see straight. (As if the vision of one eye was crossing into the vision of the other). Oh, and the characters on Grey's Anatomy, their noses were on their foreheads. Yes, it was like shrooms for free but ALL the time. From that point on, I didn't even know where to start. Fast forward 9 months later, after an emergency brain surgery (and a dope buzz hair cut ) I was finally better. (Age 32). Then fast forward 3 more years, I moved to Elk Grove. I'm driving past the Backs in Motion, "ChiroSpa." The Spa part caught my attention. I called immediately. Doc Williams answers the phone, he passes me to Dr. Alexa briefly and then the receptionist. I make an appointment. I come in. I'm asssigned to Dr. Alexa. I'm newly pregnant, in pain, with headaches (chronic for me now, due to all the surgeries) yet hopeful but also desperate once again. I literally left in love. I saw that the yelp reviews of Backs in Motion did not yet have a review highlighting Dr. Alexa so I am taking the time to spill my guts, share how much I really mean it when I say I found a savior and give her the complete kudos she deserves. I've began seeing her twice a week now and she goes above and beyond. I am looking forward to so much relief, light and peace. She truly is a great soul and has changed my view on the industry. If SHE was my chiropractor all those years, I bet I wouldn't have experienced NONE of that. Many blessings to her. I'd give this place a thousand stars if I could. Dr. Alexa makes the office. When I brought this to Robinson's attention, he was not nice about it at all, took zero responsibility and got angry at me because I didn't agree with his method of fixing this since antibiotics did not work and he said he needs to redo my surgery and this is the only way..When i didn't agree and questioned him about it, he gave me another appointment, had me drive all the way to His office, just to ask me to leave and he nolonger wants to help me out..This was clearly not a professional move and he abandoned me at the horrible shape with bleeding and infected knee without any sympathy or care...All this time, my knee has been infected and still is, it took a long time to find meaningful care with a real doctor months later, who had samples tested from my leaky knee which Dr Robinson's assistant re-punctered and re-opened the wound during a follow up visit and it came out to be a very stubborn Staff infection..2 different doctors said that once this infection goes into my blood stream, it's so dangerous and it could result in my death..Yes, Robinson literally played with my life and the reason my knee never recovered till now is literally his incompetence, his entitled nasty attitude and his discrimination against me, because I questioned his skills and didn't agree with him..So 14 months later, only 2 days ago, as my knee started to hurt and itch, I touched it and I've discovered a blue string popped out of the surgery hole and wow, Dr Robinson literally left this in my knee and I believe this has been the reason of the nasty infection..This whole ordeal has caused me to loose so much time from work, so much pains, so much embarrassments when my knee ballooned up with active infection and puss and blood busted out of it infront of hundreds of people, once at my daughter's sport game, several times at work, and so many other times, this has caused me a great deal of financial losses, as well ass Added Stress and depression..I have pictures and videos of the string on my knee which Sean Robinson left and it won't come out when I pull l, it is inbedded deep in the knee and only a piece of is hanging outside..Robinson is not a good man, he has no medical or personal honor, and he should be asshamed of himself for abandoning my care, this knee should have long gotten better but it ruined my life..Stay Away from this doctor, or if you go see him, record every session..I have now great evidence of his incompetence and seeking legal help..YELP, this is real, here are pictures to prove, please do not remove this because Robinson pays you $$ to keep his fake image. The bad location was 5 minutes away but a nightmare! I'm so happy my Dr. sent me here. The staff are nice here and the care I'm getting from the PT and PTA are wonderful! They have a lot of compassion and empathy. They don't push you to do things you can't do and will work with your pain level. No eye rolling like I experienced at the other place. They show concern and care about improving your movements. They are knowledgeable about the locations of your pain and how to help you eliminate the pain. The location is very clean and sanitary. Equipment is up to date. I highly recommend this facility if you need the care to rehabilitate.

I was in a lot of pain because my other knee had so compensated (it needs surgery too) that it has taken a beating. The leg operated on was doing good. I'm about 50% healed. I wasn't too impressed with my numbers, thought the results would have better, nur range of motion is good. Maybe later as it heals but I have no more appointments to have it measured to see how it's doing in the future! That bothers me. After 6 weeks...no more appointments. I would feel so much better if there were 6 week, 3 months and a 1 year follow up until you are healed implemented in their program. The only thing is, you don't see Dr. Howell except the one time in the hospital after surgery. I would have liked to talk to him about my other knee and even though Hanna has been exceptionally helpful, she still isn't Dr. Howell. Don't get me wrong, without Hanna, I would have been lost these last 6 weeks. I hope he pays her a fortune! She deserves it! But, if I am going to have him do my other knee, I wanted to see him and ask questions from my actual doctor about what I am going through right now. I wanted his input on how I can maintain and if the other therapy's out there would help until my 2nd surgery or am I wasting my time. Hanna really tried as she had heard good/bad about alternatives.
