If you're an alcohol drinker living in London, or if you're trying to give off the impression that you're an experienced alcohol drinker living in London, this place will tick off all the bucket list boxes. Ambiance, music, drinks, and service quality, these guys have it all. Is it unusally loud? Yes. But, can you talk in spite of the loud music and conversation? Also, yes. I can't explain it, but this place has an almost magical quality that makes you want to come in for 20 minutes, and has you ending up staying for 4+ hours. The drinks are great - from their signature negronis to their posh Italian-style coffee, you'll be hard-pressed to find a drink you don't like... provided you like your alcohol and coffee strong. The menu is short, but service is amazing, and it's the kind of place you'll want to brag to your bar-hopping friends you've been to, at least once. I mean, even the food is great. Just try the prosciutto sliced in-house with their crispy flatbread, and you'll see what I mean. The queue can get a bit long later on in the day, so bring a friend or two to make it worth it. What a lovely little spot. I popped in here before dinner with a friend this evening and had a reservation, which I highly recommend making as it gets busy and is a tiny place: it's adorable on the inside and every person that I spoke to was lovely. My server was the kindest human I've interacted with since getting to london, just such a wonderful person. I got one of the house negronis (the robusto) for £8 which I thought was a good price for what was an excellent cocktail. Their other drinks (around £13) I think seem a bit overpriced. When I headed off to London, Perrier's 2019 announcement of the world's 50 best bars hadn't yet been published. The 2018 edition listed Bar Termini at #6, and it also made the list in 2017 and 2016. Not that I base my happiness on such things, but perhaps the fact that it's not on the latest list means that you'll find it easier to get a seat inside this intimate space. The place is very popular and for good reason. What a special little find. Inspired by Rome's Termini train station bar, Bar Termini's servers are young, handsome, and look just spiffy in their white train-car jackets. I hadn't made a reservation but they made space for me on the proviso that I leave my table by a time when it was supposedly reserved by others. That time came and went and I went in for a second round of drinks; it appeared that nobody was going to boot me but I had other plans and couldn't have stayed for a 3rd round even if allowed. Bar Termini is a little hive of activity with a handful of prized food offerings, coffee drinks, and some very eclectic, very well made cocktails. I wanted to try more of the menu but when round 2 came I couldn't help but re-up on my first choice, the Fellini, a coffee-vodka concoction that I was certain would leave me staring at the ceiling at 4 a.m. Sleep be damned; I'll have the second Fellini. Bar Termini might not have made it onto Perrier's 2019 list but it's right there on mine. It's like a trip to Rome without leaving London. Bouncer was lovely. But that is where the customer service ended. Initially we stood inside the door as there was no room. We were happy with this as we were happy to be inside out of the rain. When a table became free I asked the waiter if we could sit. The waiter seemed annoyed that I had asked and from then on we were treated like absolute shit and mocked. It was so odd. A complete change in character. I'm a Londoner and a regular to the area and restaurant scene and have never encountered service like it. The waiters were consistently rude to us and belittling. This, despite us being friendly and unsure what we had done to annoy them (except ask to sit down). They seem to have a weird control/ power issues. Drinks were really good and we spent quite a bit of money however after being offered and given another (our last drink) we're told we had 10 minutes to drink up. Paying £16 for a cocktail and being requested to drink it in 10 minutes is not acceptable. The bill between the two of us came to £90, so not cheap. When I was leaving there was a que outside and I said 'thank you' to our server who was outside managing the que. After I had passed the waiter mimicked me making the que laugh at me. Horrid. I've never had to write a review before but this experience was shocking. Friendliness and politeness should be a given. read more

The drinks may be delicious but they are horribly overpriced. There are very few tables and few places to sit. We arrived before the theater to a packed house. After waiting for a table we had to squeeze into a very tight space. The seats were horribly uncomfortable! To save on space they had several stools without a back. The drinks were nice, but of average quality and size. The taste was good, but certainly not worth the price. I was shocked when I received the bill. The staff was not very friendly. They acted like they were put out to have to take our order. Based on my experience, I will not be visiting this location again. There's something about this bar that just clicks. It is really well put together in terms of decor, service and drinks and was just a real pleasure to visit. I would probably avoid at busy times because it's not big (although you can book! how civilised!) but for a late weekend afternoon aperitivo it was perfect just to drop in. We tried the spicy negroni and thought it was fabulous - the presentation in a tiny adorable cocktail glass was great too. One of the many reasons I love London. Bar Termini is an Italian bar in the heart of Soho. They have their batch Negroni's on speed dial, and offer a handful of varieties in their collection. Aside from their Negroni selection, they offer a full bar service, and several beers. The food options look good, but I haven't eaten here yet. I did have a cheese platter (I think- jet lag and Negroni's are a bad combo kids). Reservations are accepted, and I say make 1. The room is small. I think the basement where I grew up was larger... and that was an 1100 sq ft home that held all six of us (insert violin here for tear-jerker of a story). read more

Don't come here to eat - whilst they have cheese plates and thinly sliced Parma ham for you to nibble on with your drinks, this is primarily a bar! Similar to 69 Colebrooke Row this is a postage stamp sized bar with tiny tables - not one for groups unless you hire the whole thing out. Pop in during the day for a coffee, or come along a little later for perfectly balanced sublime cocktails. We visited at 6pm Friday evening and enjoyed the Spritz Termini, the Bellini, Death in Venice and the Marsala Martini, with a cheese selection to take the edge off the alcohol. Booking even for a table of 2 is required to make sure they can fit you in. Given the fashion for bitter cocktails at the moment the Aperol Spritz and the Campari based Death in Venice were actually drinkable - the flavours really work without being bluntly thrown together as is the fashion in some bars at the moment. This is why I rate this place! Dimly lit place, very small. We had a rez at 9:45pm. I'm not a fan of the hour-only policy but it wasn't too crowded this past Saturday so we stayed well past the hour clock and no one pushed us out. The cocktails are 9 quid which is a bit too pricey for me when you have Freud's around the corner for 6.75 more or less. I got a bramble, off-menu, and it was quite good- very strong but not so much that the creme de mur didn't shine through. The service was great and I'm glad they offer free sparkling/still water. There are also some small plates on offer. I'm dinking another star (one already for the prices) though for the ridiculous door policy. My husband and I got there early and waited for a friend. When she arrived, she told them she had friends inside and he still stopped her from entering and waved a hostess over to confirm, even though we were waving in the corner. Seriously?! This place is worth going out of your way for. The space is small and cozy, so you may have to wait for a bit. The cocktails here are phenomenal. The House Negroni is an easy and obvious choice. Delicious and, at £7, cheap for London! But the true star of this place is the service. Our server made us feel like guests, joking with us and making recommendations. At one point, there was an altercation with a man who came in, very drunk, and made a bit of a scene in the tiny bar. The servers asked him to leave, polite but stern, ushered him outside, and then turned to the bar and said to everyone, "The party goes on!" What a wonderful idea from Tony Conigliaro - a tiny stop-off aperitivo place styled after the kind of place in an Italian train station that you'd nip a quick drink whilst waiting for your train. A session bar, this is not. A crucial pre-dinner stop if you're in Soho, this is. Indeed, given its emphasis on bitters and amari, you could actually just as easily go for a post-dinner drink. Given its miniscule size, it can be difficult to get a spot - I tend to turn up particularly early or late to avoid the problem. The team there are always as accommodating as they can be though, so turn up and see what they can do. Don't be an ass if they can't seat you immediately though. Bar team are impeccable - beautifully attired, old school polished Italian service, friendly and professional. Drinks are great and are produced very quickly (pouring chilled pre-mix helps a lot!). Excellent negronis and spritzes. Don't go here expecting a Woo Woo or Long Island Iced Tea - leave the space to people who want to actually drink Italian-style aperitifs! I hadn't expected too much from the food, but was delighted that their burrata was exquisite. There is something quite elegant about a Negroni. Those who fancy it, and those in the know, head to a tiny bar in Soho to partake in a true connoisseurs' Negroni. With a bit of retro chic, this speakeasy inspired bar has flare and stylish cocktails. And for those who like Negronis there are FOUR to choose from! There is the classic, a bolder version of the classic, one infused with a bit of pepper, and a version infused with rose. We tried them all and I am happy to report they were all delicious! While very hard to pick a favourite, but I will say when I go back again, the first round I will order is the pepper infused one! I really did like this old fashioned feel to the place, and that includes the delicate sized cocktails and distinctly Italian feel and service. The bar nibbles were excellent, you can't go wrong with chunks of Parmesan cheese and a bit of Parma ham. A great place to go with friends. Definitely book ahead as the place gets full quickly and they prefer a sit down policy (as opposed to punters crushing the bar). Absolutely fantastic bar, ambiance and cocktails. Went here on a Friday night around 9pm and tried four different cocktails... Drinks - all were delicious and the best part was I had never heard of the recipes before so it was refreshing and satisfying to try new cocktails. We also ordered an espresso martini which isn't on the menu and it was divine! One of the best I've had. Service & Atmos - The service was excellent. The vibe is dark but upbeat and cool. I was happy to see that we were surrounded by proper, old school Italians who seemed to be enjoying the drinks and food as much as we were which is a good sign. Seating arrangement is perfect - although the place is small the staff seat the tables efficiently so you never feel like you're getting bumped into ever. Food - I only had a little nibble which was excellent - the mini panninis are only £1 which is a bargain. I'd highly recommend this place for a drink before dinner or a night cap; lighting and vibe is perfect for a cheeky night cap, and maybe a quick snog, before heading home :) read more

Came here for a drink with a friend (OK it was a date!) and although a lovely date destination I wouldn't come here with a group of girl mates. Very cute spot and our cocktails were lovely! Service is great, too. We had a few meat and cheese plates but I wouldn't come here for the food, you would come here for their exciting and unique cocktails. I would say it's quite a quirky place and it had good atmosphere. Warning... you can't order by the bottle, which threw me a bit but I think it encourages you to try other cocktails/drinks on the menu. Another great small cocktail bar. Small is the operative word here, so book a table and be prepared for noise. I found it got a bit too buzzy and loud on a Friday night so it was hard to hear for such an intimate place. Also, if you book a table you are are only guaranteed an hour. That kind of sucks. But we ended up getting a little bit more time at our table and somehow managed to put down four very tasty drinks and a little mini panini. When I say mini, I mean mini. So we stumbled out of the place and it was a good thing we didn't stay for 2 hours. The best part about it--the charming and excellence service. Popped in here for an hour before going to the cinema and was a big fan. There is a small menu of Negronis and aperitivos, plus wine by the glass and a beer option. My wife sampled the Death in Venice and Spritz Termini cocktails, whilst I had a couple of glasses of red. We had some prosciutto and cheese to go with the drinks and it was all excellent. The service was great, as was the atmosphere, so we will definitely be back. We booked our table for two and although they do accept walk-ins, I would imagine you'd have no hope of getting in most nights without a booking. read more

Great Italian coffee made with the most scientific method and delivered with such style. You can prop up at the bar for a £1 espresso, unheard of in London. The best to order is the Bianco and the Bicerin. You will be converted. After 5 they serve some interesting cocktails made in their crazy lab. Try the digestif, Terroir (Flint, moss and mud) It's refreshing to see a business run with such passion and only serving the best produce and ingredients. read more
