A quirky little caf that offers tapas, salads and a warm atmosphere. The gents that run the place are very friendly and thoughtful and can make a mean omelette! We stopped in in the morning on a weekday and I had just gotten off an international flight and was ready for lunch at 10 am. They sorted me out with a salad and soup and offered my partner breakfast. They also have artists curate the upstairs rooms and makes for a fun and interesting atmosphere. There's great space upstairs for groups! I haven't tried their cocktails yet, but it won't be long! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-16159294

Seven at Brixton is one of the first places you come across when you enter Market Row from Electric Avenue. Even on a rainy day, this place makes you feel as though you are on vacation. So much to see and discover! We spent all afternoon here, looking up from our notes and laptops every now and again to take in the surroundings. Like most of the new places in this undercover market, Seven has a very eclectic and special feel to it. We didn't even realise at first that the magic continues upstairs! This is an instant favourite, and I will use every opportunity to return. The food looked delicious, and the cocktails sounded extremely tempting, too. So much more to explore

I love Brixton Village, it's great for an after work drink and finding somewhere to eat. On a Friday evening most places are busy or have queues outside, so we were lucky to sneak in and bag a little table upstairs in Seven at Brixton. The decor is quirky and a bit grungy but I really like it here. The short but interesting cocktails are a real bargain at £5 each. My favourite was an amazing watermelon margarita - probably one of the yummiest cocktails I've ever had. My date had a pineapple Mai tai which came with a flaming sugar cube in it! It's a fun, buzzing atmosphere in here, and whilst I've never eaten there the tapas looks good. Great for drinks with friends or a casual cocktail with a date.

The most expensive coffee in Brixton!!! £2.20 for a expresso with a drop of milk. Seriously? This is Brixton. Just walk to the next shop and you will find a latte for £2. Seven thieves.

Oh how I wish my life wasn't so busy... OK that is 1) quite big headed of me, and 2) a lie. But on this particular occasion I wish I had the chance to spend more time here and enjoy the atmosphere. This place definitely has that! I came for the last hour of a friends birthday drinks, upon which they'd obviously been there for 3 or so hours and gotten suitably merry. Good for her I say! If you can't have a skinful on your birthday eh! Well, this I feel was more upmarket than a skinful, after all it was cocktails. But cool cocktails, served in jam jars or odd bits of glassware where bartenders had thrown together ingredients like peach iced tea and ginger beer to mix up classic cocktails in a hip and trendy twist, oh so appropriate for Brixton at the moment. Having come from a classical concert I was not appropriately dressed, so made up for it with my flamboyant personality of course... An Awkward entrance was made and I leave it your imagination to fill in the blanks. Now it did take 20 minutes to be served, but I don't blame the staff since they were friendly, it was packed and I actually would have been served in 10 minutes but the waitress sliced open her hand opening a tin of peaches, as you do. Getting back to the table I then found that because we reserved a space for a party there was table service. Smooth, Daniel... Anyway, in the hour I managed to sample a peach teatini and a shiso martini, so I was obviously modelling my drinking on the alcoholic lovechild of James Bond and David Bowie (born in Brixton and incredibly cool, but not in his Labyrinth or Space Oddity phase). Oh and by the way, £5!!! NO WAY I hear you think, but yes indeed much of the way in fact. What. A. Steal. A full evening of merriment must be had here, also want to sample their tapas mmmm.

Cool little place with good, basic, tapas options. Upstairs has a more bar-like (also very run-down) atmosphere. Staff is very friendly!

The red lights really give an exotic feeling and the sofas are so comfy I don't even want to get up once I've taken my place. They prepare fantastic cocktails here and you don't have to wait for your drinks which is great. They have a wide selection of shisha, but there is only a few flavours that I enjoy. I'd recommend Cinnamon, Berry and Melon flavours. What I wanted to try and sure will order the next time I come is their milkshakes as they prepare them flavoured like chocolate bars. A Twix or Sneakers one would be amazing.

From the beautiful Murano glass chandeliers, to the subtle effects of lighting. The real highlight was the food. Truly delicious and plentiful. I had a favourite of mine - tempera vegetables, and they were crispy, delicious with a wonderful dipping sauce. You can always tell the quality of Thai cooking by a green curry, and this was one of the best I've had. The portions are so generous that they had no trouble at all packing the left-overs for us, and we enjoyed them the following day. The staff their are so friendly and helpful, and knowledgeable of the food they are serving. The will gladly talk you through the menu and offer recommendations should you need it. I can't wait to go back to visit my family in Newcastle, as the Buddha Lounge has become a regular fixture of my visits. If you have not already been, I would recommend it as soon as possible. Thank you so much for a wonderful and memorable evening.

We went with three different options from their tasting menu/cocktail tour, and were wowed away by each and every round of the molecular cocktail experience! There were a range of flavours, temperatures, liquors, flavours and modes of "drinking" each of the rounds. Situated in the Shoreditch area, the location is great! The decker is also very trendy with the dimly lit speakeasy vibe. The service was great. Cannot wait until I'm in London again to go back and try another one of the options on the tasting menu.

The space isn't a true speakeasy as there's a clear entrance you go to, vs finding the secret entrance and all that jazz. Aside from that, the vibe is moody and chill. Menus are in the books at the tables. They offer ala carte drinks or you can choose their 5 drink tasting menu which is popular. We all got the tasting menu, every person getting a different theme. Drinks are creative, whimsical, fun and playful. I'm not much of a drinker so I was concerned this would be a bit much for me, but this is about the experience, the drinks werent too big or overly boozy, or anything. The themes from the 39 euro tasting menu are: 1. Cocktail history. This is the most traditional drink direction 2. Naughty childhood. Drinks are candy and dessert based. Not necessarily overly sweet so don't worry about that. 3. Nature. 4. West meets east. Asian themed drinks. This was most creative and I wish I got this one. 5. Gourmet. French themed. This is the one that didn't get chosen from our group. 6. Get ready and go. London themed. All the drinks were super creative. There was so much thought around presentation put into them. And they update their drinks regularly. I'll definitely come back so I can try more of the other themes. Note. They have very very minimal snacks available so make sure you eat ahead of time.
