Food about average, pricing a bit higher than what I wanted but I was stuck in the airport and hungry. Service was good. I ordered my roll not to be toasted and it came back toasted, no big deal. And chips instead of French fries for the price should be a crime.

Greek Salad, add chicken.

Great service. Ordered iced tea and the Greek salad with add chicken. Real food at the airport.

Airport food is usually very expensive and not very good. This one was the case. Our fish was overcooked and the fries were cold. She did bring us a new order of hot fries that were very good. For the price I would not come back.

Was flying from Pennsylvania and there were few restaurants around . Flight was late and we decided to have a quick snack and drink. It wasn't that crowded but service was very lean . Wish they had more bartenders and helpers around . Service could be 100% better ! Food was ok. We had some snack and it tasted good .. it was expensive though. A simple snack is about 16-20$. Bluemoon was good. They had some decent beers on tap. Average experience .. 3 stars ..

Quick breakfast before a flight. Two egg n cheese wraps and two ice teas ($35). Service good. Food tasty. Typically expensive at an airport. Serves the purpose and close to our gate.

Pierogies and sausage

Well! First things first! I love all places celebrity chef and food network. I've had drinks with a coworker and now a meal by myself at this place and in the hustle of travel didn't realize the name of where I was! So cool! On my way home this time, I was hungry (a little bit) so I ordered the pierogies and sausage appetizer. It was absolutely delicious - just what I hoped it would be. And the mustard dipping sauce and sautéed onions just made it all the more perfect. Highly recommend!

Rosemary fries?
Greg S.

Disappointing.... Waited to be seated, no one in sight. Server comes over enters something into the POS in front of me, but never acknowledges me. Using the kiosk I order rosemary fries. $9.50 ? While waiting a women picks up her order who has been waiting 20 minutes she said and about to miss her flight. I get the fries 10 or so minutes later and surprise, barely warm fries with grated Parmesan and a dash of rosemary, neither appeared fresh. The only thing I can say is the portion was for the table and not a single normal size person. Overall unimpressive , but it's airport food which is usually overpriced and crap quality. This was both.

Pub burger with bacon and Parmesan fries

During a long flight delay I decided to give Bar Symon a try. Service was fast and friendly which is always appreciated when at the airport. I ordered the pub burger and added bacon. I also upgraded the chips to Parmesan fries. There has to be at least 5 slices of bacon on my burger and it was delicious. The parm fries had the perfect amount of cheese and seasoning. Bar symon has plenty of power outlets to charge your devices while eating. Another great addition for any airport location. I'm mad at myself that it took me so long to give them a try after all the times I've been to Philadelphia airport.

Me, happy because I didn't lose my lap top

If I could give this restaurant 1000 stars I would. I didn't even eat at this restaurant, but I can assure you the staff will take very good care of you. I had the most amazing experience Dwayne. He's an amazing human being! I left my lap top near the restaurant and he collected for me, kept it safe until he could hunt me down in the airport to find me so he could return it to me! That was a miracle! He is a miracle! Words can't describe how grateful I am for this!

Pricey and mediocre, but survives out of necessity because it is the only option in the Delta terminal near the gates. Service isn't the worst - usually is better at the bar. The servers have all been friendly but not always very attentive. Food wise, while a little pricey it isn't that bad. I've had a good experience with almost every food item I've ordered compared to some other airport restaurants, but it certainly isn't anything special. My go to's are the fries, pirogies (surprisingly good) or the basic grilled cheese. My main issue is with the prices. I'd love to have some pre-flight wine, but a 9 oz pour was $17 a glass. They can get away with it, but just not worth it!

An excellent pre-flight martini.

The service was attentive and personalized. I ordered a Bombay Sapphire martini, and the bartender came to my table to ensure I got what I wanted ("up or dirty? olives or a twist?"). My server checked in every 10 minutes or so and my food arrived quickly. My sandwich (the Rachel) was hot and crisp--the cheese melty and the slaw cool and sweet. And the homemade potato chips were warm, crunchy, and salty--a welcome surprise. I'm not sure why people are complaining about the prices. Other reviews mention a 9 oz pour of wine for $17--that's $8.50 a serving, which is pretty standard, even outside of an airport. My perfectly made martini was $19, but I've paid $30 for the same drink at other airports (in Jackson, Mississippi, no less) with warm gin and substandard olives. I travel frequently for work, so I've eaten my share of meals in many an airport. Bar Symon--service, food, and atmosphere--is among the best.

The food was good but not great considering the price. If you're paying $20+ for a sandwich, fries shouldn't be extra

Absurdly, hilariously, offensively overpriced. But it's practically the only place, so what're you going to do?

Upon entry, I took the elevator up as I had a carryon bag. You have an option to walk up the stairs located on the side. It was the nicest Sapphire Lounge I've been to. They even had a room full of video games like Pac-Man to play for free. At the end, that's where all the food is located. Had cheese sandwich, yogurt, etc. on the side, they had infused water and flavored ice tea. One thing I found out later was you can also order from the QR code located on the tables. Food there is different. They have the signature burger and fries, vegetable soup and pasta as well. All were pretty decent. There were plenty of space and, while a lot folks, it wasn't full. They have sofas in the bar area behind the check-in counter. Look forward to visiting the opportunity. It is not too far from the gates if you are flying out from Terminal D/E.

There was plenty of room to relax, and everything was well thought out. I really hope they open one in Los Angeles too, because LAX definitely needs a lounge like this! No photos from me this time--the other reviews already have plenty of great photos! And honestly, if you're complaining about the food or drinks..., it's free! Enjoy the lounge, relax, and appreciate what's being offered. You can't expect a five-star restaurant experience when everything is included.

However, it was too early and they weren't selling the Philly cheesesteaks yet. Too bad! I'll have to try that next time in that airport. I was about to leave when I saw Taylor ham on the menu! This is something that is not served everywhere and kind of unique to the eastern USA, in my opinion. I mostly familiar with Taylor Ham, from my time in New York City. Anyway, I thought I would try it. I was thrilled to see my server, cooking up my fried eggs, freshly on the grill. He was quick and efficient. He seasoned them up perfectly. The cheese was melted all over the eggs, nice and gooey. That was placed on top of us thick Taylor ham slice. I did not expect that! I thought it would be a thin slice of Taylor ham. I think it's the saltines of the ham, but I really like. And the bun absolutely wonderfully soft. This was the perfect find at the Philadelphia airport! I hope I can get back there to try the Philly cheesesteak next time. The restaurant was clean. The service was fast. There's nowhere to sit, but you can find somewhere else within the airport to sit and enjoy your meal. I give this a solid five stars for airport food.

A variety of sandwiches and other options I decided to go with the classic make your own breakfast sandwich where you choose your meat choice. I went with bacon and it came on a potato roll with egg and cheese. Though I love breakfast food I'm typically not hungry in the morning but today I was and I'm super happy I did. The sandwich was good I savored it. Had to stop and leave a review before I even finished it haha. If you're looking for a classic deli style breakfast sandwich that's not overly expensive this is definitely the place to go. The servers were friendly and quick. This may be my new airport go to in the morning
