Reaching out and connecting with Ro was so easy. We started talking over text and some phone calls to understand my needs for bartending an engagement party, even including pictures and so much great info! The expertise that Ro brings to the table is unmatched, down to the recommendations of using small water bottles instead of large! Who would have thought!!! Ro and I went over the details for a few weeks, tweaking the services that I wanted, and was so helpful in figuring out what I needed. There are so many reasons to hire Bar RO'D, but the most significant to me was actually Ro and Devo themselves. Not only are they experienced bartenders, but they have quite literally the best personalities ever. They were more than just bartenders--they were part of our party. More so, they were actually the backbone of our event. They came exactly on time, set up their beautiful bar, which I may add is SO CLEAN. As someone who always worries about cleanliness, this was key. They brought lined coolers with clean and sorted ice. They were constantly wiping down the bar and tables. It truly could not have been more clean and safe. They even designed a drink menu with me and had them on the tables! As the host, I was focused on many other things. They handled everything, even helping us set up a little self serve bar when they left. I scheduled 4 hours of bartending, but honestly I would recommend 6 hours if you are throwing a longer party. Ro and Devo are some of the best people I have had the pleasure of meeting. I was over at the bar talking to them for so long, and I barely even drink!!! In summary, this company is very well priced, extremely helpful in determining what you need and not overcharging you. She helped me determine, what drinks to order based on what was popular for the DC Metro Area, particularly our geographical area of Manassas, VA. She also provided guidance with quantity, individual drink costs and bar decoration options. All of which turned out to be spot on for our event. Ro almost singlehandedly saved my 25th birthday party! A friend was going to bartend and came down with strep throat, canceling two days before my party. I was stressed because I had 40 people coming to a 1920s birthday party and no bartender! A friend recommended Ro and what a blessing she was! I called her on Thursday for a Saturday party and Ro absolutely came through. Not only did she put my mind at ease, but she was very flexible, professional, and dedicated to making my party a success. As someone just turning 25, I didn't have a lot of money, and I wasn't sure I would be able to find a quality bartender on such a tight budget (and on such short notice). Ro really worked with me on the cost, and made sure that I had everything I needed. She was even able to stick to my 1920s themed drink menu! Brandon the Bartender was the life of the party. My parents loved him, my friends loved him, and he even made non-alcoholic drinks for my little sister. He was so fun and energetic, everyone wanted a selfie! We had an amazing experience with BAR RO'D Mobile Bartending for our wedding! We were originally thinking of going the DIY bar style for the wedding, but after speaking with Ro, we knew we could not miss out on this superb service. We were originally going to attempt to purchase all the alcohol, transport the ice, create cocktails, etc. but Ro took care of all of that. She even used the cocktail napkins I had gotten ahead of myself purchasing so that they wouldn't go to waste. Ro was quick to respond to any inquiries, very knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with through the whole experience. During the planning phase, Ro thought about every little detail and it meant so much that she offered to additionally purchase and serve our specialty sodas: Inka Cola and Cheerwine because we wanted to incorporate the sodas that represented some of our backgrounds. My first impression of BAR RO'D was at a friend's party a couple of years ago and I was not only super impressed with the visual displays they provided, but also the crew's tact and unequivocal professionalism. So I decided to use the mobile bar tending service for one of my own parties. Their service DID NOT DISAPPOINT! We have used BAR RO'D for two of our own "Oktoberfest" parties over the last couple years and both times they showed up when they were supposed to, dressed up in costume (I didn't even ask them to), they handled everything so we didn't have to worry about it, and they cleaned up as if they were never even there. During the party their highly trained drink technicians made sure the guests were taken care of and tended to every detail that we didn't even think of. They are truly professional and come highly recommended. Each team member was friendly, very well trained and really seemed happy to be there. You can tell that the comradery and morale among the team is high and these folks really enjoy what they're doing. I used BAR RO'd services for my wedding (Aprrox. 250 guests). I would highly recommend BAR RO'd to anyone planning an event and in need of bartending services. During the months leading up to the event, the vendor was extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and supportive to help make the mobile bartending service fit our needs. During the planning process, we set up multiple calls and determined the number of bartenders, bars, quantity/type of alcohol, quantity of mixers/cups/etc., placement of bars, and total cost. The vendor payed attention to detail and was extremely patient and empathetic. Their planning experience helped make the process easy! During the event, the bartending service was perfect - drinks were flowing, well mixed, and all of the guests really loved the set-up of the bars. The bartenders were very experienced as well - which really made me feel comfortable during the reception. The vendor even had LED lights on the bar that matched our flower arrangements. The mobile bars looked very formal and professional - something that we were looking for in a vendor. I definitely plan on using BAR RO'd again during my next event. This company is amazing, Ro and Devo are fantastic!! I was introduced to their services at a friends party in October and literally planned my husbands surprise birthday around having them here. It was the best decision of the entire event. Ro was so helpful throughout the entire planning process and worked with me on everything. Even when I panicked and changed the menu drastically with a week or so to go, she didn't even flinch. I also really appreciated that they were not just trying to drive the price up. I was expecting about 50 adults and she easily could have encouraged me to spend on way more alcohol than I would have needed, but she didn't. It's not cheap, reasonably priced for the service, but they are 100% worth every penny. At the event itself Ro and Devo were prompt, prepared, and professional. They even took the time to chat with my young boys and serve them special drinks so they felt included. At my friends party I had the chance to meet two of the other bartenders and they were equally amazing. Ro and Devo have become family to us. We have loved them from the minute we met them. The first time we used their service was for our 325 guest wedding...and have continued using them over the last 6 years since getting married, and have had them service our more intimate family events for our 3 kids birthday celebrations with around 40 adults and 20 kids. I wish I was able to give 6 stars! Having Ro and Divo at our event was truly like having fun family members over that happen to be amazing bartenders! Our event was for an 8th-grade basketball team so a fair amount of kids and adults and took care of both. They came up with two special drinks the "AirBall" and the "27-2" for our event and they were both delicious. My wife and got to spend more time with our guests which was another huge benefit of haveing the BAR RO'd team there. Leading up to the event, Ro was in constant contact and never left me wondering or with an uneasy feeling that something was going to go wrong. Pricing and planning were clear and upfront so there were no surprises at the end. Speaking of which we had so much fun was asked them to stay longer and luckily they could so we ended up going a little longer than expected. We planned a rooftop reception with over 600 RSVPs. Of course mother nature had her way and called for showers and thunderstorms. We utilized their full service for an in home 40th birthday party and to say I was impressed is an understatement. BAR RO'D did an amazing job at my husband's birthday party. I can't emphasize how easy it was to work with them and how little of my time and effort was required. They really do take care of everything. One initial phone call early on basically set up the whole production, with just a couple of emails ironing out the final details the week before the event. I really appreciated how little I needed to do, since I was planning this huge party on my own and not using a party planner.
