We went with the 5-course Classique menu and paired it with plenty of bubbles. My absolute favorite part was crossing the street to Maria, which is basically cheese heaven. The cheese room was absolutely stunning, and they have an incredible variety of cheeses with jams and other accompaniments for each one. I wanted to stay there forever! Next on my list of favorites was the seabass caviar lemon meringue tart. Pure delight. Everything was served beautifully, exactly what you expect from a restaurant of this caliber, though the reflections from the lighting mean my photos barely do it justice. We had been in France for a little over 2 weeks, and this is honestly the best meal we had had yet. It was lovely to see a menu that wasn't like every other french bistro. A few of us had the menu du jour starting with a wonderful salad with warm chevre toast wrapped in bacon and ginger chicken with a beautiful light sauce. My 2 teenage boys have celiac disease and the chef had no problem adapting the menu to suit their gluten free needs. I can't recommend this great little place enough, and the Train des Merveilles tour was a great day trip.
