Wonderful little chalet in Tende. Loved the local goat cheese tossed with pasta! Would recommend to anyone. read more

After riding the "Train des Merveilles" from Nice to Tende, we found this great little restaurant for lunch. We had been in France for a little over 2 weeks, and this is honestly the best meal we had had yet. It was lovely to see a menu that wasn't like every other french bistro. A few of us had the menu du jour starting with a wonderful salad with warm chevre toast wrapped in bacon and ginger chicken with a beautiful light sauce. My 2 teenage boys have celiac disease and the chef had no problem adapting the menu to suit their gluten free needs. I can't recommend this great little place enough, and the Train des Merveilles tour was a great day trip. read more
