He had gone a few times to get some feedback on a project he'd been planning and the female employee at the front desk was very helpful with giving suggestions and tips. When I went up a couple of weeks ago I was able to see the selection and we were able to speak to Jerry who showed us specific stones, their names, sizing and an estimate in pricing on the spot. There was another younger gentleman who saw us walking around and asked if we needed assistance later on. My husband had engaged with him in a convo before and joked around with him. We walked around and saw different sizes and colors and we ended up talking to a gentleman who was shoveling some finer rocks into some buckets that he had in his SUV. He was telling us about his project at his new home and showed the ideas from his query on ChatGPT!! Wow! That gave us an idea to try and upload ideas for our space using ChatGPT when I got home. It looked fabulous, gave some design suggestions and tidied up the space even though we didn't use the exact stone nor landscaping. We ended up buying some stones from here and some other plastic landscaping materials with stakes. There are tractors that will also load the rocks/mulch into your truck bed. I recommend this business based on the customer service, variety and pricing. They help DIYers like us! Support local!!

We had previously considered replacing our travertine altogether due to extensive cracking, particularly in the kitchen, but I'm so glad we tried StoneCare of Texas first. When Ryan Rex, the General Manager, stopped by to measure and give an estimate, he was professional and courteous and pointed out that although they would do their best to fill the cracks, the smaller, hairline cracks might still be visible after their work. I appreciated his honesty and decided to schedule the work. The crew (Jorge and Mitch) were prompt, polite and professional. When Jorge saw that some of the cracks in the kitchen were along grout lines, he took it upon himself to buy grout to match on his lunch break. The travertine came out looking bright and spotless and close to new again thanks to the crew's attention to detail. Even the hairline cracks that Ryan had said would be visible were improved and not as noticeable. I would highly recommend StoneCare of Texas and just wish we'd used them sooner!

We have upgraded our home in all areas except our second bath and having a peice of fremica just did not seem like the right choice for listing at our price. Not wanting to spend an arm and a leg Haley recommended we work with Chris at San Antonio Gratite Works. I shopped around over the weekend before we met with Chris at his shop and he and Zuma helped us pick out a gorgeous remnant and the price was unbeatable. Next up was getting the template made which followed the next day. Chris understood our need to move quickly and was able to work us into his very succesful business' calendar. After the template crreation Crhis team was going to install the granite the next day. So that is only at four day turn around, which is unheard of in the countertop fabercation world. Chris called on the day of the install with bad news... my wife had unfortunately mismeasured and the piece of gratine we had selected was to small for the job. With Chris and company out on jobs, my wife and Zuma found a new remenanat, but this tiem it was SileStone, which is what we have in other areas of the house. Amazing! Customers come first at San Antonio Granite Works. Chris was still able to get the job done in time for our realtor's pictures of the house and we could not be happier with the service we have received from this wonderful local business. Not suprising that they take of people they have provided San Antonioians charity work many times via Mi Casa and other support services. We previewed their work and was apparent they take pride in their jobs. My Wife had difficulty finding a stone that complimented our decor and Zulma, one of the owners, took the time to go with my Wife to multiple stone yards to find several stones that fit our budget and decor. After selecting our slabs Chris, one of the owners, came to measure and produce templates once we had chosen our slabs. Once the slabs were delivered to their warehouse we had the ability to go to the shop and layout the templates on our slabs of marble and granite, ensuring the grains and patterns were presenting to our liking. The installed product was exactly what we had in mind. The granite and stones were beautiful and the production (cuts and edges) were beautiful. Chris and his installation crew ensured the product they delivered exceeded our expectations. Unlike others, they don't perform an installation and send another crew behind them to fix production problems or installation mistakes. If you are looking for a great experience and a beautiful product you owe it to yourself to visit Chris, Zulma and the SA Granite Works team!
