    Large dining room

Went there for Valentines dinner and it was packed but well managed. It's a large restaurant and tables very close together, which I and clearly others weren't wild about. The table next to us asked to be moved as they said it was " too tight". The food was exceptional! Everything was prepared to perfection and presented well. It is pricey but in the end, worth it. The noise level is high and so you do have to speak somewhat loudly to be heard in conversation. Service was excellent . It is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. In warmer weather they have a large outdoor seating area. I would have given it 5 stars except for the tightness of the tables and the noise volume.. I would def return,

Amazing city-like ambiance with good food and drinks. Great for date night or catching up with a friend! Went here for weekday dinner and the restaurant was relatively packed! It was a welcome surprise as the restaurant felt like a lively bistro. We ordered: Le peche cocktail (sweet, fruity) Caesar salad (standard, could skip if needed) Tuna tartare (get it!) Cheeseburger (very yummy, large portion, comes with fries) Sauces are additional but you get all 4 sauces for $2 if interested! Garlic aioli was the favorite. Service was friendly and would definitely recommend this to others.

Bar Frites is a fantastic restaurant with excellent service, a beautiful interior, and an extensive menu that offers something for everyone. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual meal or a special night out. I highly recommend giving this place a try. The owners are also well known for operating several other restaurants in the area that are just as impressive, which really speaks to the quality and consistency they bring to their establishments.

Had lunch at Bar Frites with a colleague--clearly a popular lunch spot and easy to see why. Classic French bistro vibe, attentive service, and fresh, well-prepared food. We went with salads and shrimp tacos, both flavorful and nicely presented. Plenty of parking in a high-end shopping lot, which makes it convenient for a weekday lunch. Prices are in line with similar upscale spots.

We went for Sunday lunch at Bar Frites, which we have been numerous times. Both the cuisine and the service are consistently excellent. The cuisine has a hint of real French flavor and style. There is sitting both indoors and outdoors during the warmer months. Parking at the strip center can be a little crowded, but it's seldom an issue.

One of my favorite restaurant experiences lately. They have outdoor and inside seating and we sat outside which was nice and the inside was beautiful. The service is great and they make sure your glass is never empty. Their espresso martinis are delicious! We started with the escargot (a first time experience for me) and they were out of this world flavorful! I loved every single bite and dipped bread in the oil they were bathed in. The tuna tartare was super fresh and delicious. The steak frites were perfectly cooked and the French fries were so delicious. The Caesar salad was basic but so delicious. The lava cake was perfect- warm and gooey! Super choclately I loved it. The creme brûlée was so sweet and yummy. I can't wait to come back!

The start of the experience was weird with the host making an awkward comment about whether he could "make me happy" by seating us early because we came 10 min early. He also just seemed like a jerk. The servers were nice and polite though. We got a booth which I liked. It was busy on a Saturday night with a lively bar and happening music. The menu is eclectic ranging from chicken parm to French to salads to fish tacos. It made my husband and I skeptical about whether it would be good but we stuck to the French food and really enjoyed it! The bread basket was basic and good, plain well cooked French bread and butter. I had the Malbec and my husband had the Bordeaux which were both good but not great, with a generous pour we appreciated. The coconut curry mussels had an amazing sauce that I would definitely want again that came with perfect French fries. The filet mignon was a little smaller than I hoped it would be, but was perfectly cooked and seasoned and came with perfect French fries and good but not great sauce. The French onion soup was good but I don't know if I would order it again just because the sauce was a little watered down and it was more cheese than onion but it was good. Overall we were really impressed with this restaurant mainly because of the coconut mussels. Would definitely come again, we had a great date night there!

This was a fine place to stop in for a quick lunch in the area. We were pretty simple and all ordered different salads. I got the Greek salad and thought it was pretty good. It was nice that it had a big chunk of feta cheese and enough olives. The service was helpful and relatively fast given our time crunch. Our waiter was kind and gave us iced teas to go as we paid the bill. My parents said their salads were fine. My dad's Caesar salad was a little bland and could have used some more cheese (in his mind). A last thing to note was the difference of the two spaces. The outdoor patio was roomy and comfortable and where we sat. Inside was pretty cramped and it was very tight getting back to the bathroom.

Parking and making reservations for a party of 12 was relatively easy. The restaurant has a French gastropub look and has a lot of foot traffic. Their mussels, escargot, and clam oreganata were tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. Most of their dishes were good, my favorite was their French dip. It was one of the tastiest au jus I've had. Its consistency was perfect, it was not too thick (some restaurants are heavy with the corn starch) and a little more to the watery side which allows the bread to soak it up). It had a satisfying amount of roast beef in each bite. The linguine with wine clam sauce was also really good. However, that is rarely a dish a restaurant can mess up on. The tuna bowl wasn't bad, they could've added a few dashes of sesame oil or seaweed flakes to incorporate some Asian influence to the dish. The kids enjoyed their chicken strips with French fries and pasta dishes. Their apple tarte tatin was surprisingly very good considering it was one of the flatter tatins I've seen. The thin slices of apples went very well with their flaky crunchy tart crust. They topped it with vanilla ice cream which completes the bite. Their crème brûlée was good, what I would expect from any crème brûlée, nothing extraordinary. The food did take a long time to come out. Our kids were finished with their meals when our appetizers came out.

Decided to come to Bar Frites with my daughter & her friend for dinner since it was close by. This was probably the most disappointing Poll restaurant I've ever tried in the area. 2 stars bc the staff were friendly & service was great, but honestly, the food was not good. We ordered 3 entrées- a cheeseburger, hanger steak, and pappardelle bolognese. Everything came out within a reasonable time. However, the burger and steak were terrible. Idk how you can mess up a burger- the pickle wasn't cut, the bread was oily, meat was too rare, and juices were squirting out everywhere. The steak was disgusting- it was chewy and had an almost liver-like flavor. Not to mention, the pomme frites that came with those entrées were soggy. My pappardelle bolognese was alright- it was bland, at least the ground meats tasted fresh. Sad to say, this will be my first and last time here.

The first thing that surprised me was how packed the restaurant was on a Monday night. That alone speaks volumes about the quality of the food and service. Despite how busy it was, the staff remained attentive, professional, and welcoming throughout the evening. Everything we ordered was excellent. The tuna appetizer was incredibly fresh, the crab cake was packed with flavor, and the short rib was fall apart tender and cooked to perfection. We also shared a pizza that disappeared quickly from the table because it was just that good. The cocktails were well made, and even dessert was a standout, the perfect ending to a birthday dinner. The atmosphere strikes a great balance between upscale and comfortable, making it ideal for date nights, celebrations, or simply a great dinner out. It's not often that a restaurant excels across appetizers, entrées, drinks, and dessert, but Hendrick's Tavern manages to do exactly that. If you're considering a visit, make a reservation, even on a weekday. A packed Monday night tells you everything you need to know.

The restaurant, Gatsby's Landing, draws its name from the romantic nostalgia of The Great Gatsby. Situated near the Long Island Sound and Roslyn Pond, the setting offered a beautiful waterfront ambiance. My wife opted for the Baby Roasted Beets Salad, Salmon, and Crème Brûlée, while I chose the Lobster Bisque, Squid Ink Tonnarelli, and Tiramisu. The menu highlights their commitment to fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients - a promise they certainly delivered on. The dishes were both delicious and generously portioned. It was clear the kitchen doesn't skimp on quality; for instance, the lobster bisque was loaded with tender lobster meat, the squid ink tonnarelli featured an abundance of blue crab, and the salmon was a substantial, thick-cut fillet. The chef clearly possesses a mastery of technique, knowing exactly how to pair garnishes and balance flavors in perfect harmony. Furthermore, the waitstaff was both diligent and courteous. We can see why this establishment is so popular--the combination of exceptional cuisine, attentive service, and the serene lake views is hard to beat. However, there is one area for improvement: the restaurant should consider replacing their current chipped plates with larger, more elegant dinnerware. High-quality presentation would better reflect the dignity and caliber of the food they serve.

Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate, which obviously isn't the restaurant's fault. What WAS incredibly disappointing was their solution: instead of seating us inside the actual restaurant, they walked us over to a completely separate, off-premise catering room nearby. We were literally the ONLY people sitting in this random room. It felt like we had been removed from the restaurant entirely and stuck in an overflow event space and not exactly the birthday dinner or Felice experience we made a reservation for. What made it worse was the host's attitude. Despite there appearing to be plenty of available tables inside the actual restaurant, she flat-out refused to seat us there and essentially told us we could either sit in the catering room or go somewhere else. No apology, no attempt to accommodate us, and honestly just incredibly dismissive and rude. It was such a bizarre and unwelcoming way to treat first-time guests. The food at least started off strong. The bruschetta and eggplant were both great! For dinner, we had the chicken Milanese and cacio e pepe, and neither was anything special. Our server was nice and the service itself was pretty good so I don't want that to go unnoticed BUT being shoved into an empty catering room and basically told to take it or leave it by the host completely overshadowed the rest of the night. For somewhere we were genuinely excited to try, it was an awful first impression and definitely not the experience we expected.
