5 stars for the experience. Driving in was a maze but there were people along the way to direct you. Then you park, grab a welcome drink and get a shuttle up to the restaurant. The views at this restaurant are what you come for. Beautiful. We did the middle level and had great seats along the edge (just not centered) but still a beautiful view of the ocean. Service was nice and friendly and spoke English. We are pescatarian so went with the ceviche and vegetables. Both were delicious. The veggies were perfectly seasoned and had yummy pieces of cheese. The ceviche was so good that when we didn't hit our minimum spend at the end we just ordered another one to go for dinner. We each had a glass of wine and then one of those tasty coffee drinks. I did a seasonal mezcal and coffee drink which sounded kinda weird but was super tasty. Overall great picturesque experience.

Cuatro Cuatro had been on my bucket list for years, and I finally got to experience it--let me tell you, it did not disappoint!  It is a gem perched on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The views alone are absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. If you're planning to go, I highly recommend making a reservation in advance since it's a popular spot, and trust me, you don't want to miss out. A heads-up--there's a cover charge, and getting up to the hilltop restaurant might cost extra. I can't remember how much repaid but It's worth double-checking those details beforehand so there are no surprises. Also, bring some cash for tips, a light jacket for the cool evening breeze, and of course, your camera because the ocean views are unreal. The menu is a perfect mix of Mexican and international flavors. My favorites are the fresh ceviche fish tacos, and grilled octopus, also their margaritas and local mezcal cocktails if you are a cocktail lover. I would skip the wine list there. The prices are on the higher side for Ensenada, but the quality of the food and the experience make it worth it. I'd suggest arriving a bit early to take in the scenery and snap some photos before dinner while taking a shuttle, the ride up adds to the adventure. Overall, Cuatro Cuatro is one of the most memorable dining experiences in Ensenada . Can't wait to go back.

Stunning views. It costs around 50$ per person to reserve the corner table. There is also a 10$ transportation fee via shuttle. Not sure why they charge separate for the shuttle. Other than that the staff were very friendly and gave excellent service. The cocktails were amazing and it was cool to have a DJ spinning some great dance music.

I love this spot. They've made it more challenging to make a reservation here with the required fee and advance booking. With they said, you cannot beat the view and it's an incredible stopping point to break up the trip into Valle de Guadalupe. I made a 1 pm reservation and left LA at 8 am. We made it just in time after the insanity of the border crossing and intense construction along highway 1 in Tijuana. And we thought LA traffic was bad! This place is a bit intense with process. After making the pre-paid reservation online (that my credit card continually cancelled thinking it was fraudulent), you need to park, walk through the vineyard and checkin at the host stand where you'll collect your bus tickets and your dining credit. From here, you'll board the bus that will drive you the rest of the intense way. It's a 5 minute shuttle ride straight down the side of a cliff. I guess I can see why they don't want us driving! The setting is magical, hip and stunning. It's such an effort to get here but well worth it. My partner and I split a bottle of wine along with the fried polenta (fabulous!) and the filet (heavy but tasty). You cannot beat this view!

Discovering Bura within Cuatro Cuatros in Ensenada is an unforgettable experience. Nestled in the stunning Valle del Guadalupe, this winery offers breathtaking bars that overlook the ocean, perched so high you need a bus to reach them! The drinks are exceptionally strong and delicious, making each sip a delight. The aguachile is a must-try, especially with a kick of habanero salsa, adding a vibrant burst of flavor. And the oysters--simply unforgettable, a true highlight of the visit. Whether you're a food enthusiast or just looking for a unique dining experience, Bura at Cuatro Cuatros is a culinary treasure. The only thing that could be better and it's no fault are the dumb frat bros next to me lighting up pot. Americans ofcourse. Everyone else was classy, proper and educated.

How do they have such low stars?!?! This place is absolutely amazing. We will come back every time we visit. The adventure of getting there on the shuttle is a huge part of the fun. Don't forget to get your complementary drink before you get on the shuttle. The view is absolutely stunning. And the food and drinks were delicious. The hours online were not correct so make sure you call them and make a reservation. Such a fantastic place to view the sunset. Can be chilly on the top of a mountain overlooking the coast, so bring appropriate clothes. Enjoy!

Made reservations online for 9 people. We booked the plata service. Must admit, the website only had everything in Spanish. It was tricky at first; as initially Open table had booking but that didn't work so I had to go directly through the website. I used google translator to copy paste the reservation, but I didn't mind. Cuatro Cuatros Bar Bura was our last stop (of 3 wineries). This was a day trip to Valle De Guadalupe, and everything was amazing! Our driver made sure we made it on time for check in. The winery is huge. We went to check in as a group and we're given a choice of drinks while waiting for the bus shuttle to the restaurant. Bus drove passed beautiful vineyard and up a steep and winding road. It dropped us off and we walked on a path that led to the restaurant bar. There was a DJ and vibe was chill. Views were amazing and photos don't do justice. We were ushered to our section. We ordered and re-ordered drinks & thoroughly enjoyed the scene, the company and couldn't stop telling each other, we def need to stay the night here and watch a sunset. Our reservations was 330-530pm. Must admit, we were still full from the food at our first stop. This was our last stop and we basically spent our pre-paid food/drink credit on drinks! We ordered guac and that was prob the only food. Everything was fun, festive and beautiful! Even the bus shuttle back to the parking lot was a party bus! So awesome, we will be back, we will book overnight stay at least, there was so much more to see and experience!

This is my second time coming here and it is by far my favorite restaurant. The food is excellent, the view is second to none and the service is phenomenal. My sister was visiting from GA and we had to make the drive to come show her this beauty. Worth the drive!

Cheers!

The views from the cliffside bar can't be beat! You park at the bottom of the hill and then go into a small shop where you can buy a shuttle ticket ($13) to drive you up to the location. Good for large groups with reservations.

One of the most stunning spots I've visited in Valle Guadalupe thus far! Not just for the views (available in select locations on the property), but ambience, service and FOOD - WOW. We were a very lucky walk in on a Friday afternoon and we're taken up to Bar Bura via shuttle (I think about $12USD round trip?) with a small beverage of choice included upon boarding. A few minute drive through the property takes you up the mountain around the bend and WHAM there's the Pacific Ocean in your face ! The Bar is a sprawling covered outdoor patio facing the ocean. We had a live DJ playing great music, and phenomenal waitstaff taking care of us our entire stay. We ordered a couple rounds of drinks (all great) and some tapas to share, because why not? And oh wow, we're we thrilled with our choices. Polenta & Roasted Veggies - 6/10 - Polenta was crisped (intentional) but didn't wow. Roasted veggies were lovely but also not wow. Still, solid dish. Ceviche - 8.5/10 - Very well done, would order again! Squid ink coloring was interesting (but later realized this is kind of a thing for the area..so more of a 'it's not you it's me' thing happening there).. Hummus - 8/10 - The hummus was SO delicious, the cute little pita pieces were perfect. Just didn't love the mushrooms with it? Aguachile - 10/10 - Positively delicious. Brightly flavored and perfectly tangy, gorgeous pieces of filleted shrimp and crunchy cucumbers, ah! So so good. Octopus - 11/10 - The menu said something about a peanut sauce. Weird right? With octopus? Who'da thunk. But, mis amigos - this peanut sauce octopus quite literally ruined all other octopuses (yes, that IS the correct grammar. Google it) for me the rest of the trip. Mind. Blown. Also while you're there, use the bathrooms! WHAT A VIEW.

Amazing views, as everyone has said, so definitely get some pictures in. The true drawback is that you have to pay $10 per person for their bus ride up from Cuatro Cuatros (winery/hotel) to get to Bar Bura. Don't expect prices to be significantly cheaper than the US, but the quality was significantly better for the same price in the US (where you would also get no view at all in the US) I read somewhere that people did not like the service. I didn't have any issues with the service; it wasn't outstanding, it wasn't bad. I did appreciate that they took the time to explain which drinks were popular. I also read somewhere that people thought the food wasn't great. I didn't find this to be the case either (or maybe I need to try some of the great food they had elsewhere!). I really liked the aguachiles. It was amazing and in a red sauce (I have always only had it in a green sauce). For $15, it is certainly not cheap and is pretty much US prices. However, the quality at this price exceeds what I have found in San Diego (but open to recommendations!). The guac and chips for $5 was well worth it. Smooth creamy well seasoned guac. Perfect to snack on while you enjoy a nice easy day with perfect views and perfect weather. We sipped on 2 cocktails for about $12 each and thoroughly enjoyed both (Old Cal's, a mezcal old fashioned; and some yellow drink..p(something)cito. Ambience was great, met a group of great and fun people dining next to us. We didn't have the table at the cliff edge, but honestly I didn't see any poorly positioned tables given the panoramic view. My tip would be to go on a weekday as it was not packed, but also not empty. I will definitely be back with more friends and family. I just wish the $10 per person bus ride fee could be waived with a purchase or something... Note that you should put in your GPS to take you to Cuatro Cuatros...I think some peoples GPS might have taken them for some crazy loop otherwise. Must visit!

He picked us up early right at the border, and the pickup was unbelievably smooth and easy -- the perfect stress-free start to the day. From the moment we met him, he was warm, friendly, and genuinely kind. His car was super comfortable, and he immediately adjusted the music and temperature to our preferences, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and personalized. We were originally planning to visit four wedding venues, but Danny went above and beyond -- thanks to his insider local knowledge and great suggestions, we ended up touring TEN venues in one day. There's no way we could have pulled that off without him. At each stop, he dropped us off right on time, picked us up promptly, and even helped communicate with venue staff so everything ran smoothly. It really felt like he always had our backs. He also made an amazing last-minute lunch recommendation that turned out to be one of the highlights of the day. Danny got us home safely, and we're so grateful for how easy, fun, and seamless he made the entire experience. I truly cannot recommend him enough -- 10/10 would absolutely book again. I didn't realize you needed a reservation to come here but Nathan who owns this beautiful property with his vintner wife opened up their table for the best tasting we ever had! Each pour was delicious and we also got their charcuterie board which is not on the Malva menu but you can request. Nathan was very descriptive of their wine and praised his wife on creating so many of their wines. He made it clear that this is a woman owned vineyard and he just helps out. This made us chuckle because we all are married and would love for our husbands to praise us like he did! The vineyard is very resourceful and does clean practices for winemaking making it shine in their wines. I ended up going home with their Julio wine. I can't wait to try it at home and you can be sure we'll be back!

One in particular loved to ask for head scratches by resting his head on your leg waiting for you to pet him. We got there right when they opened so service was a bit slow but that's understandable because they were still preparing for the rest of the day. Presentation was on point and made for a very fun meal. The horse mackerel rosette while not in an actual rosette was very good. Nice touch of citrus. Sea urchin flan was very umami and very filling. Gyozas were more like dumplings because they did not have any crispness to the bottom and the gyoza wrappers tasted like they were dried out in a fridge. Filling was an ox tail filling and worked wonderfully. The ramen broth however was just a bit too salty. I think if they made it into an aspic and put a bit of it with the filling it would have made for a better flavor explosion. Catch of the day was ok. The skin of the fish was kinda soggy but overall flavor was good. I think the crispness of the fish skin added with the shaving of jicama would have made it more of a standout dish. For the Pig dish, they used a suckling pig. My only complaint with the dish is they should have dried the skin out some more and made it crispier. Who isn't a fan of crispy pork skins from a suckling pig. The presentation of the desserts was the most amazing. The pumpkin is pretty much a lavender milk cereal inside and some sort of jelly and granola topped with a salted caramel ice cream. The carrot cake. This is the most delicious carrot cake I have ever eaten and the presentation itself was very fun. The carrot itself is a carrot puree that was candied and filled with a cream to look like an actual carrot.
