There is lounge space, a few dining areas, bar space, and outside to enjoy if weather permits. I stopped by twice during my stay. There is also a Starbucks inside. Once I came for a to go order and a latte. The latte was perfect and the same price as a normal outpost(yay for no upcharge). I ordered the chicken tacos which were delicious! They had picked red onions and shredded chicken. Extremely filling for $12-14. My second time I came with a group for late drinks and the place was booming! I enjoyed a goose and club soda and then a champagne flute. Both were delicious but on the pricey side(total $30).

Bourbon+Chocolate=Happy Husband…read more Happy Husband=Happy Wife When we heard this lounge has over 115 bourbons, plus a case of local chocolates...well, it was a no-brainer that we would be spending time here. Although we almost couldn't! Busy Friday night (this lounge is in the Westin which is across from the Convention Center), we came back to the hotel around 10:00 only to discover the lounge was packed! There was NO where to land....especially disconcerting when several tables were taken up by families with children. Seriously folks? Even the kids looked like they knew they shouldn't be in there! Sadly we went back to our room...bourbon & chocolate lounge denied! At this point, we were thinking, why the heck would you have such a small lounge for a convention center resort? Fast forward to Saturday night and we practically had the place to ourselves. Which meant we had an awesome Bartender Gal practically to ourselves, giving exemplary service. Husband could happily get his Bourbon on, and he did it justice! (We have the bar receipt to attest to it...not that they were outrageously priced, but because he tried a "few" (cough cough). He literally had a book-full of bourbons to choose from, and only one that he requested couldn't be found. Meanwhile, I was happy with a couple glasses of decent chardonnay at a decent price. We also tried two of the chocolates that are in a glass case near the bar. We tried an orange one and a slightly spicy one. The latter was the favorite. They were very small and okay, but nothing thrilling, especially for the price (near $3 each). By now we had made friends at the comfortable bar. We also realized food would probably be wise to soak up some of the alcohol, so we ordered Calamari which came on a bed of spinach. It was a giant bowl that we didn't put too much of a dent in. Tasted good, but was pretty rich and oily. Overall, this is a great lounge/bar that is especially wonderful if you have a Bourbon lover in your midst!

But I do know if you buy a ticket to the basement Delilah's burlesque show, you get automatic entrance. The drinks are fine. Basics like mojito, daiquiri, Cuba libre, rum punch. Martinis, old fashions, corpse reviver, etc. Nothing innovative here, but the very cool seating area is what you're after here. The service is good. The best part is the burlesque show. It was an exceptional hour of entertainment. Since it was October, the girls did Halloween themed shows, like Thriller and zombie dances. Colorful, exciting, exotic, creative. I paid almost 123 dollars for a VIP table (three seats, I was solo, so essentially I paid for three seats at one table) up front. It's a super small venue and the general admission seats are mere feet behind the tables and much cheaper. So I wouldn't recommend the VIP tables unless you're just wanting to spend big for no reason. Loved the Delilah's. It's really the only reason to go to Mata Hari's though.

Treylor Park was probably exactly what we needed at 11:30 at night…read more It's somewhere between a diner and a sports bar, but the decor is what makes it. The whole place is designed to feel like the inside of a trailer--spray-painted antique chandeliers, old pictures of different trailer parks, and random little details everywhere. It's kitschy, but very intentional, and honestly pretty cool. We came in late after a 4h drive into town after work, and the staff was still super friendly and accommodating. No "we're about to close" energy, which I appreciated. We started with the creamy collard dip, which is basically their take on spinach-artichoke dip, but with collards. Really good. I do think the chips were a little too heavy for the dip--a thinner chip would've been perfect--but that's a small note. The chicken pancake tacos were probably my favorite. The chicken was fried perfectly and still really moist. And at this point, I'm convinced Savannah just knows how to cook chicken. Everywhere we went, the chicken was consistently good. My partner got the grilled apple pie sandwich, which has fried chicken, grilled apples and bacon. He's not even a big pork person, but that bacon was so crispy and the whole combination just worked. Even the waffle fries were good--crispy, fresh and actually seasoned. We had the Grateful Dead and Wicked Kiwi cocktails, plus a couple of shots, and the drinks were strong, good and reasonably priced. Honestly, I don't have a ton of notes here. It's not trying to be some elevated dining experience. It's just a really good late-night spot with good food, strong drinks, friendly service and a fun atmosphere. We sat inside because Savannah in August was not about to have us sitting on anybody's patio. Definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for somewhere to eat late. It was a vibe, the food was good, and it did exactly what it needed to do.
