Among other things, I was told I needed to have rooftop drinks at sunset during my visit to Savannah. Peregrin was suggested by a few folks and it was walking distance from my hotel. There were pop-up showers just before I decided to walk over and I wasn't sure if they'd be open. There are some covered areas and I was told the bar remains open unless there's lightening. There's lots of space on the rooftop and I suppose it was easy for me to get a spot to look out over the city because of the rain earlier. The bartenders were very attentive and because it was dark and stormy earlier, I ordered a dark and stormy. And as a self proclaimed expert, it passed the test. I also thought, or assumed, they had small bites; but maybe they're available a little early.

As several others have said, I was shocked by my bill, but you're really here for the view and the vibes. Aside from a pleasing aesthetic, the Peregrin has three large industrial fans overhead which makes for an absolutely delightful breeze, which kept me cool while I sipped my cocktails and admired the skyline. I enjoyed all of my cocktails, though some more than others. The peyote, made with Jamaican rum, tiki bitters, orgeat, pineapple, and lime. Refreshing, not too sweet, perfect for the mood. The sakura blossom, made with Tito's, st. Germain, basil-mint simple syrup, lemon, cranberry, and lime yuzu is so light and easy to drink! I also had the root runner, made with mezcal, anejo tequila, Campari, aperol, carrot, and lime. It had more of an earthy taste. I closed with a to go cup up frose, like a rose and aperol spritz had a baby. So cool and perfect for a hot, humid Savannah stroll. They also have bar bites. The bruschetta was just okay, but I wasn't expecting much. Next time I'll probably get the kielbasa and fries. I think they also have some handhelds like tacos. Service was great. Three lovely ladies made sure I never wanted for anything. No crowds and laid back vibe on a Sunday afternoon. I think this will probably become one of my regular places while in town.

    Enjoying the sunset.

To wrap up our Savannah trip, we were looking for a rooftop bar to enjoy the vibes and views. We read about Perry Lane Hotel's rooftop before, so we wanted to give it a shot. The views are great. The cocktails are amazing. I had the Road Runner and it didn't disappoint. As the day was hot, we appreciated the nice breeze from the rooftop. We didn't bother to get any food or enjoy anything else with the hotel (we didn't stay here), but loved the final drinks on our final night.

Beautiful rooftop bar with views on views! We came on a Thursday night and it wasn't crowded at all. We tried to go again Friday night but it was totally packed and less enjoyable. Their drinks were tasty and they offer some delicious mocktails as well. The sunset is beautiful from up here! They have a bunch of fans so it never got too hot. I saw several bachelorette parties so add this to your list if you're planning one of those! Highly recommend.

The views here are absolutely gorgeous, and that's what you're paying for. $20+ cocktails with not-so-generous pours that you order at the bar, but on a beautiful day, it's a lovely place to sit and take in some sun and the breeze.

the view from this rooftop bar is beautiful. my friend and i watched the sunset here, and it was picturesque. there's plenty of seating, from cabana-type booths to high-top tables and bar chairs. every part of the ambiance seems well thought out and aesthetically pleasing. the bartenders are quick to engage, and the drink menu had sufficient options. i did not try any food items, but the menu was definitely enticing.

I loved everything about this place from the views to the drinks to the food!! Stunning place to get city views and a few drinks. 10 out of 10! It gets busy after 6pm I would say so go early if you want a good spot.

Beautiful!!! The decor is stunning. I didn't get a picture of the painted wall by the entrance, which I'm disappointed about because it was so pretty! Most drinks were pretty good. I had the Grandfather's Garden and it wasn't good though. They brought us blankets when it was cold, which was so nice. We had a large group and unfortunately the only place for us was at a large spot with 2 couches. There were big round tables and we all agreed that they needed fire pits there, not giant tables.

Peregrin is a fantastic rooftop bar on top of the Perry Lane Hotel. Need some reasons on why you should visit if you're in Savannah and need to beat the heat for a bit? -Great views. -Good cocktails. -Breezy, shady, but still outside! I don't always love going from super hot to super AC cold, so a rooftop with a breeze is the way to go. -The hotel itself was one of Yelp's Top 100 Places to Stay in 2023, so it was great to see a bit of it, even if we weren't staying there. -There is a pool!! Now, I do think this might just be for hotel guests, but I am sure you can get a day pass? -We didn't get any, but you can definitely get food here. What's better than lunch on a rooftop? I do think you'll love winding down with a good cocktail here.

    Ask the Community - Peregrin

Has anyone ever reserved or had an event/party here?

No, my complaint was based on false advertising.

    Is it 18+?

It is not 18+. I have seen families up there, but usually during daylight hours and not after dark.

Is it hard to get in if you are not staying at the hotel? Does it easily get crowded, wanted to go with a group of 12 ladies.

We were there on a weekend shortly after it opened and it was packed. However, it's a really nice view and there are some group seating spaces.

Can you swim in the pool if you come to the rooftop?

Only if you are a hotel guest

    Is there a cover charge?

There isn't a cover to get it.

The first time I visited was near Christmas and it was freezing outside, but they had a burning fireplace and the cutest little enclosed glass houses you could sit in to enjoy your drinks. During my recent visit, we had our 1 yr old son with us and decided to have dinner there and enjoy the weather. I had the Valencian Spritz (reposado, orange aperitif wine, fresh orange, white pepper, and cava) which was the perfect summer drink. My husband had the Soft Light mocktail (zero proof gin, papaya, kefir, and saline). For food, we started with the Labneh dip topped with olive oil, za'atar, and honey with fresh pitas on the side. Wow, this has got to be the best pita I've ever had. They were so fluffy, warm, and well seasoned. We even got a second order. The labneh dip was phenomenal -- highly recommend for an appetizer or just a snack. We also shared to the falafel bites and the Alida Burger which was very tasty! We'll definitely be back for another visit the next time we're in Savannah!
