We ate under a huge tent. The meal was catered by Chef Choice. It was an amazing dinner. The food was excellent and quite tasteful. The servers were amazing. Even in the heat they were super efficient without rushing people. They were kind, engaging, and presented as people who actually enjoyed their job. I would highly recommend Chef Choice for any event that requires catering. I attend a lot of weddings and this was perhaps the best catered wedding meal I have had.

With their provided premium bar options you are granted 2-3 liquor options, 2 beer options and wine and the mixers and bartender. Prior to booking I talked to Alexis via phone as she was able to alleviate some concerns I had about the all inclusive options, all in all she must have said the right things because I booked Dream Team Elite for October 5,2024 from 4:30-11 using the premium bar option for 100 people unlimited. Ohhh almost forgot to mention I also paid an extra 50 bucks for cups, napkins, and straws so that I wouldn't have to worry about getting them. Fast forward a bit, a few weeks away from the wedding, I call to confirm all is well, I tell Alexis I didn't really think that 100 people Would be drinking alcohol and she said that was fine she was going to cover 50 people drinking alcohol and supply pop for those that wouldn't be drinking alcohol. We went over all the liquor/beer/pop choices at the time as well. (Again nothing in writing, shame on me). On the day of, the bartender showed up with nearly nothing. And although the bartender herself was fabulous, the rest of the evening was filled with constant concern and a couple different times people had to go get things just to have enough to get us through the reception. Had I not brought some "just in case pop/alcohol" there would have never been enough. Also the 50 dollars I spent for cups/napkins/straws to be supplied, yeah well I never seen those either. Alexis has been given ample opportunity to fix this wrong after being notified of everything that has occurred but she only makes excuses and goes on to blame assistants and bartenders. If you're looking for a shitty way to blow 1500 bucks, this is the place to do it!

We really, really enjoyed the food at our tasting, and Hannah was very accessible to us. She answered a lot of questions and coordinated the rentals we needed to have a wedding at a pretty bare-bones event space. A few gripes I wish I would have known about: We had soooo much leftovers. Extended family is still eating left overs for 5 days and counting! This is at least in part because Delish Dish servers started clearing plates before everyone had even made it through the buffet line! We stopped them so at least people who wanted seconds could still take their dirty plates back up through the line. Reusing your plate at a catered buffet was a little more casual than my ideal. Hannah and the team didn't bring up ordering extra plates in the rental so we could accommodate seconds. If their plan was for nobody to get seconds, why provide so much food!? Plus the servers didn't refill the water carafes on the tables, and we ran out of desserts. The food was very good except for the strawberry cupcakes that tasted like they'd been frozen. Very tough. As far as caterers go, this is not an inexpensive option, and I was just surprised by the little things that kind of fell apart on the day of our wedding reception. My bottom line: with a little more guidance on ordering extra plates, and extra desserts and less entrees and side dishes, and a little more common sense from the servers for water and clearing plates I think this would have really been next level.

My daughter told me that DelightMore was very easy to work with before the event. We had the wedding on Friday evening 9/29/2024 at Ault Park during the height of hurricane Helene. Before the wedding could start, we moved to plan D and moved the guest tables to the two side rooms in the pavilion because the wind and rain was drenching the normal seating area in the center area. Also, we were in candlelight because the power was knocked out due to the storm. DelightMore made the best of it and more. They adapted their plan to make it all work in spite of the challenge. Karen and Jarad were on-site working to make it all work. They changed staff responsibilities because some of their staff was unable to make it to the park due to the storm. Jarad came to talk to me before the meal was served to tell me their plan of serving one room at a time and that our room's meal would be delayed but they would do the best they could. We then got our bread and salads within a few minutes of us sitting down. The main course may have been delayed a few minutes longer than they hoped for us, but it wasn't very delayed. The meal was still delicious and freshly made on site using generators they brought to the event. The staff was kind and worked through all of the changes and the tightly packed room setting. Jarad followed up after the meal was served to make sure everything worked out ok. DelightMore exceeded my expectations by their execution and concern for the customer. I can't thank DelightMore enough and would recommend them to anyone planning an event, especially during a natural disaster.
