The sausages aren't bad, but are really more like good hotdogs than sausage. The staff is friendly, but for the price I would expect a little bit better of an experience. If you're at an event and this place is close the food isn't bad, but I wouldn't go too far out of the way to try. The people seem great and I loved the concept but it didn't quite live up to expectations

It was quite expensive for only a sandwich - $14 plus tax and tip. I was disappointed because their restaurant smelled so so so good and the sandwich was just okay. It was messy and soggy. I ordered the smoked trout caesar salad and it was kind of a letdown. For $12 it's pretty small and there was not much actual trout in the salad at all. What trout there was in the salad included three bones, so watch out for those. My friend that had the ribs raved about them and the peach and prosciutto salad looked awesome as well. Next time, I'll skip the salad and try one of those.

As you would expect for a food truck they have a smallish menu consisting of burgers, hot dogs, and a few different other sandwiches. I tried their Half Pound Wagyu Beef Burger. I got ketchup, mustard, American cheese, and bacon on mine although there are many other things to put on it if you desire. The beef was absolutely delicious and cooked to absolute perfection. I would say this would be in my top 5 most delicious burgers I've had based both on how good the meat was and the awesome Sourdough bun that it came on. I also got and order of their fries which came with a dipping sauce. The fries were basic crinkle cut fries which were good but that dipping sauce was something special for sure. Kind of a mix of savory herbs and delicious flavours made a fantastic compliment to the fries. They have a big area with lot's of tables to eat at right by the food truck that offers a beautiful view of the farm as you eat. There's not one negative thing I can say about this and I offer the highest recommendation for everyone to try Chloe's.

The good first, though: Whatever the flaws in its business model, Green District still turns out well-conceptualized salads that always seem fresh and tasty. The Hide & Go Greek is a very nice chicken one with a robust, terrific dressing. The Thai One On salad is (you guessed it) an Asian-influenced one with shrimp, lots of cabbage and cilantro, and a kind of generic but fresh-tasting Asian-style ginger-heavy dressing. Also very good. Fortunate thing you can order online and don't have to verbalize those unwieldy salad names to a fellow human. (But if you think those names are bad, another one wants you to hold its beer: the Tequila Mockingbird.). Anyway, the food gets this to three stars, but only barely. Alas, the service at this location is a shambles. Count on at least a 35-minute wait, even if you order right after 11am, when things presumably ought not to be backed up. And it looks like chaos back there--just not enough employees back there, most likely. Last time it took this restaurant an incomprehensible 50 minutes to get my salad out. (Who with a regular lunch "hour" downtown has time for this?) Credit to the unflappable and put-upon young fella at the end of the line; he kept doing his job steadily and kept cheerful about it. The manager is always madly rushing about and isn't nearly as cheery (but it almost certainly isn't her fault, either). It astonishing that the food can be is good as it is in this environment. There's something very wrong about this restaurant's business model when the family-run lunch spot down the street (seemingly just as many orders) can crank out your to-go salad (as good as here, for the most part) in three to five minutes and be as friendly as they can be about it. Whoever came up with the plan has some major issues to resolve.

I also enjoy how you can order off the kids' menu as an adult as some places are stingy about that. The chips and salsa bar are great - the chips are always fresh, salty and crisp. The only downside is the salsa sitting out with no lid - maybe add foil or lids to make it more sanitary. I love the Verde salsa on just about everything. The steak taco is oh so delicious. They have Mexican cola options, juices, some canned Bevs and liquor - the drinks are rather pricy and the most expensive thing on the menu. The service is okay - you place your order at the register up front - then your food is brought to your table, and someone periodically comes around to check on you. The place is clean and a group of 2 can go here and spend less than 25 bucks easily and get tons of food.

We had the Oaxacan Buck, and the Peach Old Fashioned. The tequila drink tasted like straight up mezcal and was not balanced at all. The Old Fashioned was so sweet we couldn't drink it. So next time we'll stick to beer. The chips and mango guac were good. The Torta Cubana had a lot of pork, but was bland. The pork was moist and tasty though. I feel the tacos are where this place shines. We had one each of the fish, blackened redfish, pork carnitas, steak fajita, and traditional. I like that they put ample meat and toppings in a tortilla. Most places never fill them enough. The best were the pork, steak, and redfish. The traditional was bland, as was the fried fish. Now that we've tasted many, we will return for our favorites.

Let me say, I am not really a pie, crisp, cobbler, Brown Betty, pandowdy kind of girl, such baked items don't seem "dessert-ish" enough for me. But I was lured by this sweet man's winsome charm and wholesome story - - and his free samplers of cobbler. HELLO, adorable little 2-pounder blackberry cobbler! I snatched that one up. And then said wonderful Cobbler Man insisted that I try the "vegetable cobbler" (this. Did. Not. Appeal. To. Me. At. All). I tried it to be polite. And then I purchased it as well in the 2-pounder size because after one taste I was won over. Apparently the cobblers can be ordered in just about any size and serving capacity. These hearty, heavy little compact 2-pound cobblers could easily feed 2 adults. I cannot even imagine how cozy and comforting tucking into a hot chicken cobbler must be (doesn't that just sound lovely?!). These two-serving (OR only-meal-needed-for-the-day) cobblers are $10 apiece, and they are WORTH IT. They taste so good and are so flawlessly executed! You simply cannot expect to get an Aunt Flora-quality cobbler for a Swanson frozen pie price. The dear Cobbler Man instructed that I should gently warm up a fruit cobbler in a preheated 300 degree oven for 10 min. - but that didn't happen, who has time like that when you have a perfect personal pan pie thing to devour?! My kiddo and I split the blackberry lovely, nuked it till hot and ate it swirled with whipped cream. GAWWWWWW, deliciousness. The fruity, juicy goodness was tangy and lightly spiced with something that tasted like Christmas morning. And the crust is ridiculous, even MICROWAVED it didn't lose any of its flaky integrity and still came out crispy and golden. Oh and that cheesy-but-cheeseless, meatless-but-savory vegetable pot pie I also got?! Um ate that microwaved at work the next day and had TWO co-workers poised with plastic ware asking to try it. I'm friendly so I said sure. Deliciousness, the filling was loaded with veggies and greens and nourished without weighing down. Ahhhh I emphatically recommend that you try to get your hands on an Aunt Flora's cobbler if you can, IDK if they have a bricks-and-mortar business so I can only promote their stand at PNC/First Financial. I picked up my THIRD cobbler today and got to meet Aunt Flora, and she's kind of a culinary goddess.

The menu has some vegetarian options (I-tal, one assumes) and I was happy to select a vegan plate which gave excellent variety. I got my greens in with the quinoa and kale salad and some sauteed cabbage, but the rice and beans cooked in coconut milk might have been the tastiest part, and it all mixes together well. Then again, maybe the best tasting thing was the plantains on the side. Either way a nice platter. Historically, I've found that Caribbean restaurants tend to be some of the slowest service places I've visited (it's in the culture; I wouldn't be in a hurry if I lived on a tropical island either), but here my food was hot and quick. I wasn't offered any sort of drink, and I was puzzled they wouldn't have some Ting or hibiscus or something. I also was surprised at the price, which came back over $20 for a plate before tax. I'm not sure they'll be able to make it at that rate, but seeing as how there's not a lot of this cuisine in this part of the country, I hope they are able to make it work.
