Milk Bar... it's a 3.5 star rating, I suppose. Ok, will round up…read more The best thing about it is they don't hassle you as bad at the door. They have multiple rooms to explore. The music is good, mostly. But you may need to hop around as it can change so much. So, wander around, you might get lost, but you'll find you way again! (or just ask! ha) Not as great, the drinks are SO weak. It's a little ridic. If I'm paying $15 or whatever for one shot and soda, please let me taste the alcohol? Like, come on! I can buy a bottle for that. Just let me taste it. Bartenders can be hit or miss. I've had some totally cool ones and some really strange ones that seem to have personality issues. Not as much lately, though, just overall in the times I've come here over a few years. Maybe the current bar manager (who introduces themselves as such when you walk in) has got it whipped more into shape. Can you just tell them to include booze in drinks?! Lol Entrance is in the back alley.

It was Thursday night and they we charging a $10 cover. When I got in there, there were only 10 people in there, and that included the employees. The staff there were friendly and the music they were playing was nice. This place gives off an old dungeon vibe. It could probably use some updating. There is metered street parking available in the front and a parking lot available in the back, where the entrance was when I visited. I do like the club's set up. It has a couple of rooms. There is like a lounge area, a video game room, and a couple of bar areas with dance floors. They have different music playing in the rooms. The video game room has a bar and classic coin operated video games, like Spy Hunter, Ms Pacman, and Off Road. They mostly take quarters and they have a change machine available. The drinks here are reasonably priced and were decent pours. I only stayed here about 30 minutes. I was really bored and decided to just call it a night and go to bed early. I would probably come back here, but It would not be on a Thursday night and I would do some homework on the place before I came here.

I did a Pin-up Party here to celebrate my birthday with a few girlfriends. It was a super fun opportunity to have a "girls night out" but to do something besides bar hop. It's going to be 3 weeks until we see our images (that seems a little long to me), so I'm going to post based on the party experience then update when we see our images. **Update on images below** Kathryn H. did a pretty good run down of the party itself; when you book, you're seriously wondering how the heck you're going to spend 3 hours and wow does Jacque keep you busy! She'll take you through some pin-up history and "routines" which I appreciated because it really does get you in the mood and ready to put on your best pin-up face come picture time. Jacque was good about keeping things moving forward, but at times we did feel rushed rather than feeling like we had time to enjoy each other's company while we were there. (She seriously gave us "3 minutes" to use the restroom at one point- and she stuck to it!) The description to bring your own food/drinks makes it seem like you'll have more leisure time than you do, but then again I'm not sure I'd want to spend that much more time there either. We did bring food and drinks, and found the most time to enjoy them was during the photo shoot. She has a pretty extensive wardrobe selection which was great because of the 6 ladies there we ranged in size from 4-12, and everyone found something they were excited about and comfortable in. Her wide variety of props is pretty fun too; she made sure each person posed with 3 props during the photo session. The photo session was fun, and I felt like she knew how to work with us to help us get the best pictures, even if again, we felt rushed. I also would have liked if she partnered with a hair/makeup person- that would have been hugely helpful! We found a place to do some of our make-up and hair before we arrived, but it would have been that much better to show up an hour or two early and make that part of the party (for an add'l cost of course!). All in all, it is a great option to do something different for a girls night out. You walk away with 5 individual images, and a few group images, and have the choice to pay extra for all your images. Most of us decided we'd wait to see the images, and would be willing to wait another 3 weeks, before deciding to pay more for it all. **Update on images** It was almost 3 weeks to the day when we received our email announcing our photos were ready. We each had 5 individual shots and 3 group shots. If I was to rate based on my photos alone I would increase my rating to 5 stars, but a couple of my friends' photos were kind of off- some slightly blurry or weird shadowing that made me sad to think those were the "best" 5 images. I was really happy with my images but not to the extent that I wanted to pay $50 to see/own all of them retouched; they're a super fun keepsake and definitely different. It's an incredibly fun thing to do, and the images are really just a bonus to memorialize a great girls' night out. One of our group shots was truly epic and something I'll treasure for life.

Was going to give this place a 5 star review until about 10 minutes ago. A good business owner…read moreshould honor their word. The customer service is trash. My partner called and talked to the owner ahead of time before driving an hour to exchange an item that was uncomfortable to wear. The owner confirmed we can exchange the item. My partner drove out and the employees denied her the return and after they texted Angel (the owner) she then denied us the return. Why? Why waste our time. We spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars at your store. We were trying to support you and your business. Your lack of care is a disappointment to the community and the vision you expressed you were trying to create for woman's clothing. Make things right and I will take this comment down.

It really blew my…read moremind when my tiiinnyyyy little pill container (for OTC stuff like Benadryl, Aleve, etc.) was confiscated. Ya'll at the door are some IDIOTS. Your job is not to guess what PERSONAL meds I have on me. Did you also know some people may NEED their prescriptions without having to explain that to you?? You're not pharmacists. What your JOB IS to make sure there aren't 1) weapons or 2) drugs meant for **distribution** (i.e., large quantities). That is it, dummys. The god complex is very pathetic to experience. Leave people with their personal meds alone and don't touch private parts. This is one spot where they are taking their positions WAY too far and beyond and it ain't that serious. The venue itself is fun and has quite a few different rooms to hang out in. The main floor has SO many people PARKING ON THE DANCE FLOOR which is sooooo anoyyyiinggg. It's like these kids just wanna be or say they're "at the club" but they don't actually even "club". Go to the back and stand. Don't stand right in front of the damn DJ. They do have lots of popular DJs here and often more the type of music I'm personally into. The real popular ones, though, are so high up all you can see is a shadow of a person--amazing, lol. If you have the luxury of a car, leave anything remotely questionable in there. I don't ever drive here so I have to try and think hard before leaving my home since I can't even bring Aleve or Benadryl without them causing an issue (which is something I have literally never once before in my entire life going anywhere EVER have had to think about). When you get your door staff's crap together, maybe there will be another update.

The rating of this place can change depending on the kind of "show" you go here and watch. For us,…read moreit was one of the "Jazz Room" series: A joinery to the heart of New Orleans and we absolutely had nothing negative things to say about it as the experience last night was fantastic. It was a show with seats. Our tickets were in zone A where we were able to sit pretty much right in front of the stage/band. Wow! The staff upfront who scanned our tickets were welcoming and one of them took us to our section. She also showed us where the main bar and the restrooms etc. were m. Very organized and courteous system to say the least. The bar area was also organized, very clean and quite spacious. The lady who assisted us (for a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon; it was a very decent Cab!!) had a warm smile. She welcomed us. Very polite indeed. The show started right on time at 8pm. The 5 talented musicians entertained us occasionally incorporating talks with funny elements. They also encouraged us to be part of the songs; we thus sang along with them. The kind of crowd we had was my age range (mostly in their early to late 50's or a bit older in their 60's. My 25-yr old daughter was definitely one of the youngest people in the audience. Everyone was courteous to others; very laid back atmosphere indeed.) The show was only 1 hour with no encore (so you'll be out the door by 9:10pm unless you linger.) That was the only bummer thing about it but other than that, it was a night of magical vibes where we felt like slipping into the old jazz era of 1920's. It's funny. After living in the greater Denver area for 28 years, it was my very first visit to this venue. Despite the very low ratings of only 2.5 stars as of late January 2026, my first impression for this one of the iconic places is near 5-star rating. I can't wait to attend more shows at this place in the future.
