Would highly recommend.

He treats people like they've got brains, explaining things with lay language but without talking down to the patient. He is always friendly and upbeat, with a terrific bedside manner. It's like the medical savvy of Greg House, MD, coupled with the charm of Andy Griffith. Highly recommended!

EDIT TO ADD : It took 2 hours and 40 minutes to finally be seen and this was only after we finally came up to them to ask what the hold up was after yet ANOTHER person who came in over an hour after us was called back before us. They forgot about us entirely and we were sitting in front of the front desk.

I am writing to express concern regarding an experience my wife and I had at your Kate Bond Road…read morelocation with Dr. J. Eager. During my wife's appointment, Dr. Eager entered the exam room and spoke directly to her, but completely ignored my presence. As her spouse and support person, I was seated in the room and there to assist, yet I was not acknowledged at any point during or after his interaction. Being ignored in this setting felt unprofessional and dismissive. A patient's support person plays an important role, especially during medical visits, and basic acknowledgment is a matter of respect and courtesy. This experience left me feeling frustrated and disrespected. I want to note that we have encountered other physicians at your practice who are friendly, respectful, and inclusive in their communication. That makes this particular interaction stand out even more. I also believe this type of behavior can disproportionately affect elderly patients and their support systems, who often rely on another person to help understand and manage their care. I respectfully ask that this matter be addressed so that all patients and their support persons are treated with the respect they deserve.

Though this doctor was not right for me, he may be perfect for you. Points of Concern: 1) A bullet had been left in a specimen cup on the physician's table in the patient room. 2) The doctor asked if I had made any end of life decisions- and then mocked my choices. 3) He told me if I didn't take the medicine he prescribed, I could let my feet do the walking- I so look forward to open enrollment. 4) I summarized the purpose of my visit and he told me it was all in my head- then claimed he was joking. 5) If the hours posted on the door are correct, the clinic is only open four days a week. I am not sure how this man netted five stars on US News & World Report, but do note there have been zero reviews in the last twelve months.
