I am writing to express concern regarding an experience my wife and I had at your Kate Bond Road location with Dr. J. Eager. During my wife's appointment, Dr. Eager entered the exam room and spoke directly to her, but completely ignored my presence. As her spouse and support person, I was seated in the room and there to assist, yet I was not acknowledged at any point during or after his interaction. Being ignored in this setting felt unprofessional and dismissive. A patient's support person plays an important role, especially during medical visits, and basic acknowledgment is a matter of respect and courtesy. This experience left me feeling frustrated and disrespected. I want to note that we have encountered other physicians at your practice who are friendly, respectful, and inclusive in their communication. That makes this particular interaction stand out even more. I also believe this type of behavior can disproportionately affect elderly patients and their support systems, who often rely on another person to help understand and manage their care. I respectfully ask that this matter be addressed so that all patients and their support persons are treated with the respect they deserve. read more

Dr. Wolf has great bedside manner, explained my diagnosis and treatment options, and also explained what the images show and the need for more imaging to confirm what he suspected. In my follow up visit, it was straight and to the point. As for the front desk, I didn't interact with them other than sign in, but overall everyone that I encountered on my visits were pleasant. Would definitely recommend Dr. Wolf for your ortho needs, as well as other providers in the group. read more

I saw Dr. Saenz and he grossly misdiagnosed me. He came in the room and proceeded to say this is a follow up. And before he came in the room his assistant downloaded my new MRI I had done 3 weeks prior to my appointment. Then he asked me what l was taking for pain. Mind you I have a fully torn meniscus and a bad patella tendon. So I was in extreme pain and he screamed at me and got up and ran out of the room and came back with apologies that he had to go check with a doctor. Very unprofessional. I am disgusted with Ortho South and how I was treated and misdiagnosed. After he grabbed my knee he said you need a freeze sleeve it's not that bad. Stay off of it and try to ice your knee more. And then he said we need a new MRI. And I said I had a MRI done a few weeks ago. Then he screamed again at me and said Who ordered that I said my dr. He said why did he do that. Because I'm in extreme pain. He was looking at the wrong MRI. Then he said ohh I dropped the ball on that didn't I. YES YOU DID. No stars or anything for this Doctor at Ortho South. Then he scheduled surgery as soon as he saw the right MRI. And I called him the next day and said I wouldn't trust you to do surgery on me ever. I will never or ever recommend Ortho South. Bad reviews and you shouldn't judge people before you know the whole right story. And do your job to the fullest of your potential before jumping to a conclusion that you know nothing about. I was referred to OrthoSouth by the ER. Unfortunately for me, OrthoSouth Bartlett was the only place open on Saturday and Dr. John Eager was the Orthopedist. He ordered X-rays I already had at the ER even though I told him I had those X-rays and I wasn't concerned about a fracture. I told him I had Ehler's Danlos type 3 and already had ligament repair surgery on the other ankle due to the same injury. He said X-rays showed no fracture (which I already knew & told him that beforehand) and that he was spine ortho and doesn't do ankle/feet. Said have a good day and walked out. He didn't even take the boot off the ER had put on and examine it. He didn't order an CT scan or MRI which he could have done. Being an ortho dr who specializes in spine isnt unqualified to treat other ortho cases. And if he doesn't want to work on anything other than spines, don't work at a Saturday ortho walk-in clinic! One of my top 5 worst doctor experiences. The negligence and "don't give a crap" attitude is dumbfounding. So I have to wait almost 2 weeks to see a different doctor and hope that more damage isn't done because this doctor didn't want to treat me. read more

The PT department has Pt's and PTA's that only treat the problem and not the patient w a problem. I was evaluated and treated for 3 sessions before I decided to stop. I think they are capable of treating a problem. But, they woefully lack the personal skills associated good patient care. As a healthcare professional with 50 years of patient care experience. I completely understand the need to assess your patient at each visit. Not once did the staff question my exercise routine. Not once did they ask me if I had any exercise history. I was just a problem. Not a person. With the exception of the first visit, the staff did not stay with me to visit or assess my progress. I purposely did an exercise incorrectly to see if they were watching. Nope. Did not come over and correct my poor attempt. They just kept chatting with each other. I understand the medical community need for the computer but it should never replace the assessment and intervention that is necessary for excellent outcomes. Chris was only following a check list. The cleaning crew was more helpful than he was. As previously noted, he is condescending and totally uninterested in providing total patient care. Just highlighting the check list. Because of his total disrespect of me as a person, I will not return. I don't think I'm more important than the next person but I do know what provides good quality care. I was a rehab specialist, so I know how to provide quality care to my patients and I expect the same. read more

I was seen by the manager for my physical therapy and I have never encountered a healthcare "professional" with such a horrible bedside manner. He was so narcissistic and arrogant I didn't even want to listen to him. I didn't want him touching me, speaking to me or seeing my medical records. My treatment wasn't even customized. It seemed like he went to a file labeled "shoulder", pulled out standardized exercises on a xeroxed handout and gave me those exercises to do. Nothing customized or designed for my particular case. He used a heating pad, an ice pack and a TENS unit. I have all that at home. Why am I spending all this money for THAT?!?!? Stay far away from this practice. A google search will provide better physical therapy than this place. read more

I was referred to Tyler Cannon (TC) by Dr Laura L in sports medicine I believe. HOWEVER TC would arrange for xrays and all he did was stare at them after I saw them. TC NEVER discussed what he was looking at. While I was in Physical Therapy he never visited while I was there, yet I saw other patients' doctors visit them during their Physical Therapy. I am enclosing 2 photos. NOTE: that the smallest 2 fingers will not lie flat on a flat surface without applying a lot of pressure; i.e., the range of motion is restricted and my left hand looks and feels like it has lots of arthritis in them. Not once did TC ever touch my left hand, nor examine it; it was like he thought I have Leprosy; it seems like he has some sort of axe to grind with me, or like he has something against me. I am enclosing 2 photos as proof of my claims. For what he has adversely done to me he should have his medical license suspended for LIFE! The first photo with left hand lying on a flat surface-notice the smallest 2 fingers will not lie flat. The second photo shows that the said fingers will not close normally, nor go through their full range of motion. If I could rate him less than 1 star I would. I ordered a set of my xrays, etc; they were reduced-in-size from normal size to where they were useless to examine. I suspect TC used ss wire and tied them too tight to restrict the normal range of motion, for both closing and lying flat; restricted in both directions. Physical Therapist Chris has an attitude towards some of his clients. I watch him daily when I'm at pt and he picks and chooses which clients he may or may not interact with. He has to interact if your 1st appt but after that, he's rude and condescending with his unnecessary comments. Only unnecessary because he wasn't "educated" with my situation to the fullest. Because of the aforementioned, he belittled me in front of all. The fact that Chris would think he can behave in this manner is unacceptable and unprofessional. I'm sure he's highly regarded because I've watched him for a long time now and how he conducts himself. He NEVER asks me how I am doing or how the exercise went etc. Wow! I think 2 personalities to Chris so I will never use your facility again; he's too painful to watch how his personality changes depending on the client. Work on your attitude Chris all of your clients should be treated the same, regardless of what you "think" I am doing wrong. You were wrong, read people's diagnosis and the notes from their visits before you make assumptions. (You didn't even have the correct side of what my challenges were - laughable) True colors were shown but he tries to fool all; he's discriminating depending on the client (he does treat younger women differently than older people). Sneaky personality and I'll bet his workmates and his personnel file along with other clients would dispute this review. I was in management for many years so I am VERY good with my people skills.
