I like that there are many professionals to see there, so you can USUALLY get into someone quickly if its a semi-emergency. The only thing to watch, and this may be true for many medical practices, is the lab work on yearly wellness visits. For some reason, Mayo tests came through ala carte and cost a fortune the first time. I don't know if that has changed, but I now get a paper script for the bundled tests (CMP, CBC, etc) and take it to Quest.

Finally, I had to see an NP on my last visit that was riding out their days until retirement (pretty much said that) who was completely unprepared for my consultation. I'll drop the rest of the stars and go somewhere else if that happens again. But, I'm holding on to hope and thinking the downward trend is just an anomaly.

I didn't even know this location existed as it is tucked behind other businesses off Beach Boulevard. But I was pleased it was only 6 minutes from my house. Dr Joseph replied to my request to switch my care to her office quickly and I was able to schedule an appointment the following day after submitting the request. When I arrived I was greeted with a friendly welcome by the nice receptionist. I waited roughly 10 minutes to be taken into the exam room where I discussed my current medications with a nurse. Dr Joseph was thorough, discussing all my health concerns and suggesting some lifestyle changes to help lower my cholesterol and lose weight. I left the appointment feeling good about my decision to start seeing Dr Joseph. When I checkout, we scheduled my annual physical in August.

Caution: she sometimes runs late on appointments, but if you bring a book, it's no big deal. I'd much rather have someone who listens and tries to understand all of the health issues (and how the various medications and vitamins interact) than a quick-in-and-out doctor who just writes a prescription and send you on. Oh, and Dr. Ketty has actually called me to see how a new medication is working out. Amazing in these times!
