I actually wanted a highlighter for my Bible (yes she had several), but also found some stationary and cards, as well as a beautiful wall plaque. She was so careful in wrapping it to make sure I got it home safely and intact (thank you). She also had a nice assortment of Christian books, Bibles, and gifts. They also offer live music on Friday evenings and have watercolor painting classes. It's a fun shop with lots to see.

Local artists have works for sale. There's a farm stand with fresh produce, bread, and local eggs. They serve excellent quality food, coffees, and although I didn't have one, they even had beer, wine, and cocktails. Unfortunately I live in Goodyear and don't get to Payson nearly as often as I would like, but it's the kind of place I may make a special trip up there for. This is exactly what the world needs more of - especially the gathering place.

The small farm had a small lavender shop with items like t shirts, soaps, and lotions. We bought some honey and cookies. They both have a nice lavender aroma and are tasty. We were very lucky to be able to visit when the plants were blooming and able to enjoy the lavender smell as soon as we walked out of the car. The parking area is small and on a hill next to the road, so be careful when backing up into traffic as you leave.
