Unfortunately, the customer service completely ruins the experience. On my last visit, I brought my brother in to show him how cool the place was--and I ended up feeling embarrassed. The woman working there was incredibly rude. Customer service has never been their strong point, but this was on another level. I asked if they ever have wood rips available. I was looking for a piece about 2 inches wide and roughly 70 inches long. She immediately snapped that "he's not going to cut anything for you." I explained that I wasn't asking for anything to be cut, just whether they had any rips available. She repeated herself and told me I'd have to go a few doors down and buy a whole large piece instead--even though they didn't have any that long. At that point, I was done. My brother even commented afterward, "Wow, she really didn't like you at all." Sadly, that's exactly how it felt. Great craftsmanship, but the lack of basic courtesy makes it not worth coming back.

When I was a kid, my mom always loved thrifting up north so I suggested we check this shop out. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted and all the staff we came across were super friendly. For a small town, they had a pretty good selection though I didn't find my style of clothing in my size. I did however find a mug that had been beloved for over a year and a super cool vintage rain hat. It actually rained a few hours after, so I think the hat brought it on - I love rain! Prices are reasonable and similar to a lot of items I see in the valley. Very scenic views outside, so if you are in the area check out this quaint thrift shop!

Her candle shop is among those who have been in business in Payson the longest. 42 years now! She does her candle creating in the warmer months. This store has beautiful candles and so much more! Great place to shop for gifts. My favorites were the Arizona glass ball ornaments, and thr humming birds made out of tiny beads. So much to look at.

They had all sorts of candles in different sizes and shapes. I was particularly interested in the strawberry one and the candle maker's signature and intricate design! My friend end up buying these cool incense sticks in a variety of scents and I'm excited to light one. All in all, this is why we must shop local!
