We stopped by again and spoke with a different manager who refused to refund us or help freeze the account. She told us that it was impossible to freeze our account--LIE! This bank takes advantage of people--especially people of color. They lied about closing our account. They lied about not being able to freeze our account to stop unauthorized charges. We decided to visit another Wells Fargo located on Barnes road in Beaverton--BEST service ever! The manager, Matthew Parsons, immediately helped us without any problems freezing our account so that there would be no further charges. DO NOT VISIT THIS WELLS FARGO BANK!

I mean that, perhaps, it's time to reassess the need for a bank that takes up a quarter of a block on a main drag that's trying to actually draw some foot traffic. This place has 35 parking spaces and a drive-up window monopolizing the surface lot that takes up roughly half of its property. Why? The bank itself is staffed by perhaps eight people at any given time. Since purchasing Premier Bank in 2018, the foot traffic through the branch has not only stagnated, but declined to a point that it doesn't appear they're actively courting new loans or deposits. And, in the meantime, they're taking up half a block of Main Street with nothing but dark granite, a lone entrance and a parking lot driveway they decided to repave this year despite a lack of anything resembling traffic. This bank's presence in its current configuration is a drain on downtown's foot traffic and an ugly brick-and-marble roadblock between Downtown Hillsboro and its future. Monday through Friday from 8 to 5 are no longer this neighborhood's hours, and this kind of premium space shouldn't be monopolized by a mid-century bunker keeping bankers' hours.

They want me to pick it up there and the car is not operable. They want me to cover a 800$ tow I had a car loan that I paid every month for almost 2 years with no missed payments. One day my car was towed by a towing company by mistake out of the front of my apartment. I went to a tow hearing and the judge ruled for immediate release of the car. When I went to pickup the car they told me First Tech picked up the car and it was in their possession. I called first tech and they're charging me 2000$ in fees and threatening to sell the car any day if I don't pay in full. This is 4 times the amount the impound yard was charging me originally. The repossession department is not budging and their priority seems to be to sell the car. The car is not even running and at most will sell for 500$ since it's not even running. I want to pay the car in full 10,000$ plus interest so it doesn't make any sense from a business perspective for them. They must be getting some kind of tax break from this for them to be willing to ruin a loyal customer and lose out on 10,000$ as well I am reopening my small business and was hoping I could create a long term relationship with this credit union but now I am at risk of losing my car because of an illegal tow and my credit.
