Instead, I got some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. Christy Ortega went completely above and beyond to help me. She was not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also efficient, kind, and genuinely committed to solving my problem. Issues I had spent an entire week trying to figure out were resolved in minutes. What really stood out was how much she cared--she didn't just process a request, she took ownership of the situation and made sure everything was handled correctly and quickly. They told me that I would get 3.00% APY for the first $2,499, then 1% for the remainder. That is not at all how it works--you get less than 0.03% for every penny after the $2,500 limit. The banker who helped me was knowledgable, quick, and friendly. I like OnPoint's checking and savings options. Some accounts have no minimum balance requirements. Interest bearing accounts only require a small minimum balance to avoid monthly service fees. (See their website for more details.) They're doing a promotion right now where you can get a bonus of $100 if you open an account through 7/3/22 and have a direct deposit of $500 or more. If you're opening a business account, you just need to manually deposit $500 or more.
