They diagnosed it is a regulator issue and told me they could not put the window up.. the window had been up for weeks before it got stuck all the way down into the door. I paid my $100 for the half hour of work (fair I guess) and went home and took the door apart myself to try and get the window up. They don't recommend you have services performed that you don't need, and if you come in thinking you need something fixed that doesn't need to be (my brakes for instance), they'll make sure you're not wasting money. I thought my brakes needed to get replaced, but it turns out it was something a lot simpler, so Herbie and his guys fixed the small problem and just said to come back and see them if and when the brakes did need to get replaced. A few months later, I had a pretty bad vibration in the front end. They diagnosed it as a warped rotor, turned both front rotors and everything was fine. A few more months later, the vibration came back. They diagnosed it again as a warped rotor and replaced both front rotors this time because they could not be turned again. Another month went by and guess what, the vibration was back. This time they said the rotors "looked fine" and it was a loose tie rod end. They replaced the tire rod end and did an alignment. As I was paying for it, the mechanic brought out my keys and said there was still vibration, but I needed to buy higher quality rotors, maybe titanium. So at least one of the rotors that "looked fine" was still warped. They chose the rotors that were installed. I was not asked, nor given an option for higher quality. This is a midsize SUV, not a high-performance vehicle that would need titanium rotors. So now I still have a warped rotor and I'm gonna have to pay somebody else to do a brake job with quality parts. Never going back.

To make matters worse, they charged me $25 for a couple gallons of gas because the fuel level was low. I understand gas costs money, but charging $25 for a couple gallons on top of everything else just adds to the feeling that they are looking for every possible way to add another charge to the bill. My experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. It feels like Jensen Tire 2.0--nickel-and-diming customers instead of focusing on fixing the problem they came in for. I would not recommend this shop based on my experience. If you bring your vehicle here, be prepared for the possibility of paying for diagnostics, getting a long list of recommended repairs, and still not getting the original problem resolved.

I was charged approximately $3,100 to replace one headlight, including labor. I questioned the cost of the part at the time and was told that was simply what it cost. However, when I submitted the claim to my insurance company, they actually called me to confirm that I had only had one headlight replaced because the cost of the part was roughly double what they expected. My claims adjuster then contacted the shop directly and was told that there was a 128% markup on the part. The shop would not adjust the price, and as a result, my insurance company would not reimburse me for the full amount. I understand that businesses need to mark up parts and make a profit, and I don't expect any shop to be the cheapest. But a 128% markup on such an expensive part, especially after I specifically questioned the price and was simply told that was what the part cost, does not feel fair to me. We live in a small community, and I believe we should be able to trust and support our local businesses. When I finally picked up my car over the next 24 hours the car died 3 times with warning lights that stated transmission failure. I went back to the garage very upset and asked what was the problem. The old man that works there stated that I shouldn't say anything because I hadn't even paid the full bill yet. The son that works there stated the he would work with me on the bill and that the bill was no an issue. It was determined that a crank shaft sensor was the cause of the most recent issue and that owner agreed to add that to my outstanding bill which would be paid in full on the 15th of January. The car was dropped of this morning and I was told that it would be ready to pick up today. I called multiple times to the same old answering machine saying, " we are not available now leave a message and we will call you back", ya right! I had to leave work early only to be told it would likely be tomorrow. The old mad was full of attitude even after I apologized for being upset the previous day. Absolutely terrible!

First, let me say I would probably give 4.5 stars…read more.. I've been coming here for at least 4-5 years and routinely get service on my car which now has over 275,000 miles on it. Let me highlight a few things. Mechanics/specialists are generally very friendly and polite. Really haven't had any issue whatsoever. Their service is fast and it seems to be pretty thorough with fluid top ups, tire pressure, light checks, in addition to the oil change. I get the synthetic brand which tends to be a bit more expensive but I think is better for my older vehicle. This place gives you a FREE car wash to the Cornhusker Auto Wash which is about two blocks south of the location and provides an excellent wash!! Like most oil change places, they always pull the cabin and air filter to show you how 'dirty' it is and encourage replacement. I order my filters off Amazon and change them myself. Normally, I let them know when I pull in not to bother checking both and they don't argue or try to convince me otherwise. I like that. Here's the one thing that they have now done the last 3 times in that I do NOT like and cost them .5 star. While I am waiting, an attendant will bring my oil cap in to show me (dirt/debris/sludge) etc. etc. on the inside of the cap and encourage me to purchase a 'detergent cleanse' for the engine. DO NOT DO THIS. The 'gunk' you sometimes see in the cap is normal. If it's black sludge, then you might have an issue. Also, nearly ALL synthetic oils already have a detergent added in. One other thing, on engines with high mileage, cleaning the deposits off the engine can lead to problems from the loosened parts clogging oil passages. It's a money grab. Don't do it. I really wish they would stop this upsell as it makes me trust them less.
