But when I was speaking with him, I felt like he was mining me for data, not speaking to me as a person. He referred to his nursing staff as his "girls," which was a huge red flag to me. Then, when he found out I'm a teacher, we started talking about parents (which is common). He shifted the conversation briefly to talk about mothers and how their emotional attachment to their children essentially makes them a bad parent. That it is the father's role to balance that out and ensure the child is ready to be successful at age 18. I've come to expect doctors to treat me like a statistic, but I'm not sure I want to interface with a doctor that is a low key misogynist. If I could give him 0 stars, I would.

Never have I ever been to the doctor with them immediately referred me to a specialist without…read morechecking out my symptoms. I had to stay there 2 hrs to convinced her i was sick. Very sad. There's also no point of a questionnaire asking if we would like the dr to pray with us when she just storms out. The desk people didn't even want to reschedule. Dr. Liu didn't even want to check my symptoms. I made her check my bloodwork so it won't be a waste of a visit. Even though i vomited and had stomach pains. And they didnt contact back about the results until a week later when the results been out online. Told me i have to come in asap for slightly off number by one or two without telling me the risk of the off number. I have to set another appt for her to explain? Hah. Seems like they care more about gathering money per visit than their actual patients. Not everybody have insurance covering everything. It gets costly. I can't afford appt just for her to recommend people or talk about which number is one number over. Would i come back? No thanks. During visit she also told me she will prescribe me meds and if I want refills just call in. But when I needed refills and called in she refused to give refills and wanted me to come in for her to write it herself.

Of course I wasn't able to complete the paperwork by 5pm the day before my appointment due to work, picking up my child, and needing to get home at a decent time in traffic. If I was informed prior to the day before my appointment that I needed to fill out the paperwork by 5 pm then that would have been different. But whoever was texting me was rude, unprofessional, and disgusting. I confirmed that I was attending my appointment prior to 5pm and planned on doing my paperwork once I got home. I will be looking for care elsewhere.

The office ambiance is great from decor to music. It's calming because doctor visits can be nerve wracking. Dr. Cudjoe is thorough, makes sure you understand her explanations / plan of treatment, knowledgeable, proactive and has great bedside manner.
