The Swordfish special was unbelievable. Fish was so flavorful, perfectly seasoned and prepared that I am now ruined for any other swordfish. Hats off to the chef. The accompaniment of pearl couscous risotto (minus the chorizo by request) with mussels was so very good that it could stand alone as its own dish. Seemingly pricey at first glance but not at all at first taste and the sight beautiful presentation. Worth every penny!!!! We were there on a very steamy day. We found respite at the high top tables at the bar where a fabulous cross breeze made us quite comfortable.

In fact, being a beachside village, having a fish and chip shop here was an absolute bonus, and not only that they made some pretty awesome chips. The fish, well, you could also get little fish sticks, which added to the fact that it was a pretty cheap place for a feed. Not only that, but they also gave me a bit extra as well.

On a Monday night the wait for a table was 45 minutes if you wanted to eat in, so that should day a lot. Our two pastas and cheese and garlic pizza only took about 25 minutes from ordering to ready to collect, which given the crowd was especially impressive. The food itself was AAA+. The crowd certainly were on to something!! If eating in I would recommend booking and even then be prepared for a bit of a wait, however if the food is half as good as what I received it will be worth every second.

When dining at Italian restaurants, I have my standard menu options that I enjoy and like to see the quality from each restaurant. The Garlic Bread and Garlic Pizza was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The Oyster Kilpatricks were "warm" borderline cold when they came out and the sauce they used was a little disappointing. The Veal was ok, but I wouldn't say the best I have experienced. My wife had the Risotto which had to be sent back to be cooked for a further 5 mins. The saving grace from this experience was the staff! They were fantastic from beginning to end. Nothing was an issue and obliged to help us with the recooking of the risotto. We didn't wait long to be served and the food was sent out within a timely manner despite the quality of it. While I say the food was average, this by no means is giving you the reader to look elsewhere. Maybe your visit will be better and I do recommend trying them out.
