Our 1950s split-level home in Lutherville had old dingy and dirty wall-to-wall carpet since we moved in. Once the carpet was removed, the original oak floors were revealed, which had been badly stained and darkened over the years....including several large stains from the previous owners' pets. The Mr. Sandless team spent a few days prepping and refinishing the floors, and the results are 1000x better than the old carpet! The pet stains disappeared and the dull dark stained oak is now a beautiful natural honey color. Sam is excellent at communicating, his crew was always on time and respectful, and the very difficult job was finished in just a few days. Still very happy with the floors, thanks again Sam!

Tub Coaters sent out Geronimo promptly and he made some of the repairs even though it was almost 8pm. He's has been here before and I can confidently say he's just as patient as he is competent. Eric worked with me on the price and I'm happy with the repair. As for WHY Tub Coaters wasn't picking up my calls resulting in my 1 star review? Eric said they use some fancy VoIP phones and in an effort to avoid spam calls, the system blocks numbers that call repeatedly (sigh). What's the solution? They said they'd speak to their phone provider to get it fixed up. And how can we get ahold of them? I'd suggest filling out their online form. Hopefully, those messages will go directly to them! If you get Alex's direct line, give him a call. He's still as reliable as ever

Overpriced 8/25/2026 - December 2025 I had my tub reglazed…read more It was fine up until this past weekend and I noticed a piece of the glaze lifting up. I called the number I previous had several times and opted for the option to leave a voice mail. At 1:57 PM Eric called me and asked if I had call the office. He informed me they screen the calls for scammers. I told him that is so stupid and absurd that a business would screen calls knowing customers will be calling all day and they have to wait for a return phone call. That does not make sense to any human being on planet earth. I was informed by Eric it will take 10 -15 minutes for repairs at a cost of $45 the hours are 5 pm - 8 pm, The tech will call when they have time after their day jobs are completed to let me know when they are available to complete the repairs to my tub. If this is not a good time for me they will put me back in the cue call - there are no dates to schedule for the paid repairs - will check with his boss to see if the first repair will be done for free - Eric stated the repair fee will be waived the tech will know not to charge a repair fee because it will be documented in my account. The tech will call from the following number 1-667-220-7798 - I informed Eric to ensure the tech has shoe coverings. I do not wear shoes in my home. I asked for the supervisor's named and was informed it is Dave - Eric is manager - if I do not receive a call within the next 7-10 business days call back and ask for Eric 8/24/26 5:41 PM Geronimo arrived and did not have shoe coverings though he told me he did when called, he wanted to wear his shoes in my home and bathroom. He informed me his shoes are clean. There is no way he went to other customers' home and walked outside on the dirty ground and his shoes are clean. He called his supervisor Eric who asked what did the last tech wear, what does that have to do with today. Eric told me I did not tell him the tech should wear shoe coverings. Any decent company should automatically have shoe coverings for their techs for people who like eliminate any unnecessary germ inside of their home. Geronimo refused to wear his socks because he said the floor is cold. The did did not have a solution so I have to be inconvenience again and wait for their unexpected call when they have an available tech between 5 pm - 8pm after my work day of 8 hours. I informed Eric to ensure the tech has shoe coverings the next time. This is ridiculous customer service.

The pricing is competitive and the quality of their work is outstanding! Yazmin was always responsive to messages and answered every question I had. When I was unsure about the stain color for my floors, she took the time to meet with me and my husband twice to mix samples. She did multiple stain patches for us to see the color, and made sure I was satisfied before they finished the work. From beginning to end of the process, she sent us updates, progress pictures, and let us know the status of our job. When we had unexpected minor issues come up along the way (issues with our floors, not problems with their work), Yazmin reached out immediately and explained everything plus showed us pictures of whatever needed to be handled. Yazmin even gave us tips on cleaning and maintaining the floor to keep it in good shape. Her experience and knowledge is obvious, and Alluring Floors did a beautiful job!!! She and the whole team were a pleasure to work with! You can tell they all enjoy what they do and want to make sure that their clients are happy with the end results. I would 1000% recommend Alluring Floors!

I emailed Dovetail and included pictures of the piece. They responded that they could restore it and asked me to bring it in. When it was ready, I picked up and paid the remaining invoice amount. The restoration cost wasn't inexpensive, but the piece looks really good and their restoration may have given that piece some new life! It's ready to be used for another 50 years! Highly recommend reaching out to them if you have a piece that needs restoring: fast response, good work, on-time completion.

I also called another company and AK was lower, so I took a chance and went with AK. I also asked them to rechaulk which they did for a very nominal fee. After they were finished, they sent me photos as I don't live in the condo. I thought they did a fine job based on the photos. They accept credit and check. There is a 3% fee for credit which I opted for. I have been screwed by a vendor in the past and it is extremely hard to get your money back if you write a check. But if there's a problem, you can always try to dispute it with your credit card company if there are issues such as work was not performed to standard or not even performed at all.
