Was in the mood for some crabs the other day and thought of returning here…read more Called and placed my order which was hush puppies, crab legs/pulled shrimp & an order of seafood salad. My order was ready when I arrived. What I found interesting was stopping at Safeway in route home, they had some king crabs on sale and so I also grabbed a few of those and shrimps as well just to compare...& it was half the price of what I spent. Anyhoo-the crabs and shrimps were pretty good! And the hush puppies I thought were a bit over cooked. My shrimp salad I ended up returning. When i opened it, the smell was terrible! Very fishy. I literally just called them back and appreciated them providing me a refund. Next time I'm in the mood for crab legs and shrimp, I think I'll just make my way to Safeway lol. Happy Yelping!

Let me jump straight in... I was in the mood for crabs, but wanted to try out a different location…read moreoutside of my normal spots... That's when I ran across The Crab Galley. I was intrigued by the reviews on the Cave Monster crabs ( even though I wanted something a little less daunting to enjoy my Friday evening ) I settled on the Jumbo crabs, 30pc large shrimps, crab dip ( that I could warm up at home ) and this pineapple drink concoction that ended up changing my entire perspective on what a fruit drink should taste like. The jumbo crabs were meaty and had the right amount of juiciness to them ( A- for sure ) the shrimps had that firm texture, with a cool amount of seasoning ( B+ all day ) and the pineapple juice was everything and then more... oh my, I'll go back weekly just to taste this amazing creation ( and eating the actual fruit after I finished the drink was WOW !! ) If you haven't already you have to give this juice a try ( A+++ and more !!! ) The Crab Galley is definitely my go to for my crab cravings to close out the summer...and next weekend I'm going to give the Cave Monster a try !!!!

Thank You Cameron's Seafood…read more Cameron's seafood went above and beyond to make sure my first experience with them was a good one. Scotty from Cameron's seafood called to find out what could he do to make it better. He also came up with solutions so that what happened to to me will not ever happen to anyone else. I felt like this was huge because I'm just one customer out of the thousands of customers I'm sure they have. They went out of their way to satisfy me. Thank you Cameron's for the delicious food and the great solutions. It has been a pleasure. I will be ordering again!

First time around I ordered the fried shrimp platter with fries. Delicious! Shrimp fried to perfection, fries nice and crispy, hot and golden. I got the dipping sauce that's orange in color, kind of taste like ketchup and Mayo mix. Second time, I got the catfish platter with Mac n cheese and collard greens. Catfish, perfect! Crunchy on the edges, moist inside. The Mac n cheese, not a big fan of it. Almost tasted like box Mac n cheese. Kinda dry, over cooked. The greens, same thing. Tasted like canned greens, lacked seasonings. Comparing both to sides I've tried from other similar establishments, they could use a little work. Third time, I got the catfish platter again, this time with Hush puppies and fries. Hush puppies were flavorful and yummy. Fries, crispy and golden. Catfish, need I say more! Yummy. Overall I'm satisfied with my platter. I would absolutely order from J's again and again, modifying which platters I try and sides. If you're looking for yummy dinner or lunch that's hot, quick and filling, this is your place!

I made calls to a couple places near Annapolis listed on the state Department of Agriculture's seafood Web site and was fortunate to find Maryland Crab & Oyster. It's off the beaten path on a farm just south of Edgewater, but well worth a visit for the price, quality and service. The guy running it, Warren, gets his product from Crisfield on the Eastern Shore. He was very generous in packing as many crabs as he could into the bushel basket, and brought me back to the storage shed while he sorted them out. It was only $150 for a bushel of No. 1s -- about $50 less than what some of the markets were charging. It kept our crowd of about 30 people happy and well-fed with enough left over to make crab cakes for 10 the next day. He can steam them for you, too, and there are even a few tables in the yard, so he was letting a few customers have a crab feast right there.
