Let's start with the cheesesteak, because WOW, this thing was fantastic! The meat was juicy, the cheese was phenomenal, and the onions were cooked perfectly. Even the bread deserves a shoutout because it was absolutely unreal! Every part of the sandwich came together so well, and it's easy to see why people rave about it. This is what a great cheesesteak should be! We also ordered a cheese pizza, and that was just as impressive. The quality was immediately obvious. The dough and crust were perfectly crispy without having too much flop, the tomato sauce was incredibly flavourful, and the fresh basil was a fantastic addition. Sometimes the simplest pizzas are the best, and Angelo's absolutely nails the basics. Great ingredients, great execution, and incredible flavour! One thing to keep in mind is that you should be prepared to wait in line. This place is famous for a reason, and it definitely draws a crowd. Also, they don't sell pizza by the slice, so if you want to try their pizza, be ready to order a whole pie. It's a straightforward business model, but they execute it exceptionally well. Overall, we can't recommend Angelo's enough! The cheesesteak was incredible, the pizza was top-notch, and everything we tried made it clear why this place has such a reputation.
