For example, we could sign up, but if we wanted other people to join under the same plan to save money, they had to be under 18, which just doesn't make sense. The guest policy was the biggest issue for me. You can bring a guest, but it has to be a different person every time. I'm paying around $330 a month, so it would be reasonable to at least bring my spouse once in a while, even just once a month. Not being able to bring the same person is really restrictive and doesn't feel practical. Overall, the club itself is great, but these policies are too strict, and that's why I decided not to sign up.

The studio layout, the updated version of the great OTF treads, the coaches, space, and more... so great! The workout (thread, rower, floor/dumbbell exercises) is the same in all/most locations and the template switches each day. What makes it different or enjoyable to you is how hard you decide to push yourself. There are days where I would go comfortably, take some chill days, and few days I'll really try. The coaches are all certified and the ability to pay attention to each member in each class is such a skill. They correct form and give tips so that we don't get injured, etc. Love it. OTF PH also has the widest range of class times in comparison to other east bay studios, which I super appreciate.

Almost every time there will be members taking up space on equipment having full on and lengthy phone conversations. There are signs posted all over with proper gym etiquette which is nice, but goes mostly ignored and completely unenforced. But it's not only the members. Especially later in the evening, gym employees will be taking up space on the gym floor, while sitting on equipment, just socializing. One perk of the higher tier membership ship here tho is the monthly massage. And they have great massage therapists.
