My daughter has been going to 008 for several years now. The progress that she has made in that time has been largely contributed by the instruction and membership of this facility. She has seen multiple trainers. All of them are incredibly nice and helpful. If one can't help you with a goal, they have no problem identifying someone else that can. All the instructors are friendly and knowledgeable. The facility is always clean and picked up. Parking behind the facility or on the street is always available. Sometimes it's good to get a little BP with the machines or soft toss in a cage to get out of the tee work in the garage. It's super close to the freeway and easy to get to. The online system is really easy to navigate and never have issues scheduling. I can't rave enough about Octavia and her team! You really feel like they invest in your player. 008 cares!! This is a fantastic place to get better at softball for your daughter. I highly recommend doing the membership there. You can book an hour stop in, use a cage, use a machine all included in the membership, and you get a discount on a private lesson with it. Octavia is as about as special a person as you will find in this sport. She has a way of reaching any and every girl, my daughter see's her and Kim. Personal true story... my daughter at 12 was struggling with her swing, she loves playing, but like any person doesn't like being middle or back of the pack on hitting. I asked for some suggestions and brought up maybe becoming a slap hitter. So we decided to try, She went all in and Within 3 months she went from batting 11 or 12 on sat to being leadoff and batting .500. Been attending hitting lessons for months after we were referred by a friend. Great place and honestly don't really want to write this, as I'm scared appointments will be booked up quicker than they already are! Seriously though, Octavia and Jaycee have been instrumental in improving both of my daughters' hitting! We attended one of their camps and the girls loved it! The positivity and constructive criticism is refreshing, creating an atmosphere where my girls increased their confidence and we're provided a detailed breakdown of a proper swing. We love 008 training!!! Octavia's team of coaches are stellar! There is no voice my young softballer listens to more carefully than that of a current or recently graduated college softball player. Each of the coaches are dedicated to the success of their players. The level of instruction is adapted into age appropriate lessons with carefully planned progressions to help kids immediately see results. Coach Jacee and Coach Camille are two my kids have learned so much from. My kid went from loving playing house ball to making a travel team this year because of all the off-season help she got from her 008 training coaches. In addition to softball skill development in every area (hooray for catcher-specific coaching!!), Octavia's strength and agility training is top notch. She not only has helped my kid make incredible progress on core/leg strength (which has translated to speed around the bases), but also incorporates injury-prevention exercises to correct imbalances and gaps. Additionally, my kid is learning about the " positive athlete mindset" and how to push through hard things, to believe in herself, and to feel/celebrate her successes when they come. The Fieldhouse is a great facility for (typically young) baseball players to improve their skills. My 11 son has gone to baseball minicamps, and one on one training by an expert trainer(s) at the Fieldhouse. Coaches in little league are typically hard working dads that know baseball but most not to the extent of the highly experienced coaches that work for Don. Plus the little little league coaches sometimes are so busy with 12 kids that they don't have time for individual coaching. Please don't get me wrong, I applaud the service of the coaches of Pony, Little League etc. to support young players. My son is not a great athlete but with the added training he has improved greatly and feels comfortable on the baseball field. This is not some fancy polished floors "foo-foo" facility this is a down to earth baseball "field" house (indoors) that is great in my opinion.
