This is a family-run establishment and the only indoor soccer facility in the area, which makes it such a valuable part of our community. Just be careful sometimes there's a lot of cars it's a pretty busy autobody shop. Everything is done online you can bring cash and card and I can take you at the desk but do you want always get an opportunity to book a lame because it gets pretty busy here especially during the season and sometimes the off season. Call ahead or book ahead they even have a few coaches offering hitting lessons. Come Check it out or pass it along to those looking and new to the area

It's a 15 min drive down scenic hwys 35 & 1 from me in the Sunset, and the cool air and scenery come in handy after reviewing my gawdawful swings on video sometimes... I've always been a mediocre hitter, but now I can finally get the reps I need to build some new muscle memory and start hitting better.

It's adjacent to Larkey Park, so if the shared parking lots get full, you'll find plenty of free street parking. The pool itself is divided into several section - beginners (3.5 to 4.5 feet max depth), diving, and for lap swimming. They have lifeguards everywhere and they do a fine job of maintaining order. The water temperature was perfect. Our 5yo son seems to have a natural inkling for water but he enjoyed the pool far more than the splash pad, which is also popular with young kids. I tried carrying him up on the water slide but he refused. Note: for taller folks, they have a pretty intense water spray on top of the slide that can blind you. Imagine max shower pressure right on your face, LOL! Other amenities are large locker and changing rooms with clean showers, small picnic areas for sun tanning or relaxing, and plenty of benches and tables to store your bags or snacks. They also have a vending machine for cold drinks. Definitely plan on returning when the pool opens up again (9/27/25 was the last day for the summer). A definite bargain at just over $20 for a family of three.

When my 8 year old daughter started playing softbalI a couple of seasons ago I decided to get her some lessons. That's when I found The Fieldhouse and Octavia with 008 Training. I was concerned that my daughter would be to young for lessons but Octavia quickly showed her ability to not only teach softball skills in a way which my daughter understood but to also make it fun and connect with her on a personal level. A year and half later, my daughter's softball skills have improved greatly but it's her confidence, can-do attitude, and her willingness to put in the hard work that is required to get better that has impressed me the most. read more

My daughter has been taking hitting and slap hitting lessons at The Fieldhouse for nearly a year. The instructors are knowledable, hard working and supportive. Her slap hitting coach is Octavia Bond and her hitting coach is Jacee Almond. I've seen great improvement in my daughter's slapping and hitting in the short time that she has been going there. The coaching goes beyond just the softball skills that are taught (which are amazing) but also life lessons as well. Pros: facility is solid it has a lot of potential activities and different ways kids can grow and learn gymnastics. They also have a play area which is clutch for dealing with kids who don't have class at the same time. Cons: teachers look often inexperienced and turnover is common. First few months we had two younger but quite vocal and directed coaches. Now it's tricky. In my other class we have more experienced coaches, but midway through the class they tend to lose focus and kids are sorta all over the place. They have some odd rules and enforce or change them at what seems random. Sit in the wrong spot? They'll announce a general warning not to do that. Bring your kids to the door that they used to let them in last week that without warning was changed to the other one? You bet that's gonna be a public service announcement about you messing up. Overall: experience is going to be class dependent especially with the teachers. If I knew there was a clearly better option I'd probably take it. As of now I believe USC is probably the best option in the area.

What we experienced was the opposite. During the 4:30pm "Intro to Dance" class on 1/30/26, our child was separated from the group for ~ 15 minutes after a minor balance-related accident during a circle activity. From direct observation through the classroom window, she appeared shocked and not crying at first, but her distress began only after being pulled aside and instructed to sit alone. She remained isolated for the rest of the session, including routine end-of-class activities. When we attempted to discuss the situation afterward, the teacher characterized the incident as "intentional" without providing any factual explanation. Later written communication from studio owner denied that any isolation or disciplinary action had occurred, and also denied that the teacher had described the incident as "intentional." which directly conflicted with what we personally witnessed. We understand that toddlers lose balance and accidents happen. What is concerning is not the accident itself, but the lack of transparency, inconsistent accounts, and absence of clear behavioral management standards for very young children. We withdrew immediately. If you are looking for an environment that treats young children with dignity and values honest communication with parents, I suggest looking elsewhere.

It was a rough start as the teacher was impatient and scolded her in front of everyone for not keeping her personal space (she was only 4 and it was only her second class) She started feeling very anxious and refused to go to ballet despite loving to dance. Luckily, we sticked with our gut feeling and removed her from that class immediately. We tried another class with a different teacher ( i think it was Ms Dominique) Although she was young, she was very patient and gentle. It had a huge impact and my daughter become feeling more comfortable and enjoyed ballet at Tutu school. She was moved to Ms Leah's class, who was also amazing. She's now in Ms Hannah's class. We love Ms Hannah as her teacher because she's balanced between patient, supportive, but also not afraid to challenge the girls and reinforce structure in the class.
