This business is great! I called 1-2 days before the event and the process was easy, quick and everything I needed to ensure decorations were taken care of seamlessly. I appreciate the flexibility of the owner, who I believe answered the phone, and again, the ease of use and delivery. I really just want to thank this business for ensuring that all the little details were taken care of and that I really did not have to worry about anything on the day of the event. My boss was impressed with how well things turned out and honestly, I am sure we will be repeat customers with this business. read more

I ordered a balloon arch for a photo area on a very windy day for an outdoor event. The team arrived promptly, put arch together quickly, and talked me through a few details. When the arch was all set up, we noticed that the rest of our photo backdrop was unstable because of the wind. The Balloons DC team went above and beyond to help us. They retrieved a roll of ribbon from their van and helped us tie down the set for a top-notch photo area. This is the second time I've used Balloons DC for an event, and I look forward to working with them many more times in the future. read more

This company was supposed to deliver 100 balloons for a candlelight vigil for my neighbor who passed away. I spoke with them twice on the day of the scheduled delivery. They said they were on their way but they never showed up and stopped answering the phone. They left a grieving mother without balloons for the balloon release in honor of her son. Shameful. Avoid this company. read more

Ordered 3 dozen latex and 4 large mylar letter balloons for delivery to our son's engagement party venue. The order process was efficient. They were very responsive to a couple small adjustments to the first quote. Balloons arrived right on time and added a festive atmosphere! The large letters featured in so many wonderful pictures! I would highly recommend BalloonsDC the next time you need a special touch for your event! read more

Balloons DC - Balloon Services Near Me

Ordered three balloon towers for a big birthday celebration. Easy to work with. They did a great job and price was reasonable.

Excellent customer service and communication. Thank you so much for delivering my daughters "3 1 " balloons when we could not be with her!

I handle admin for a custom cake company (Imagine Cake Studio), and a client from out of town wanted to order a birthday cake for her daughter who goes to AU. As we worked through the details, she told me that last year she'd tried to send her birthday flowers, balloons, and more via FTD and the order never showed up! Her poor daughter literally thought her mom had forgotten her birthday! Can you imagine? Anyway, so as we were talking, she asked if I thought we could delivery balloons with the cake. I said not a problem, we'd make it happen. I knew of Balloons DC from a prior event with my son's school. So I reached out and Jennifer was incredibly helpful and accommodating! My client had chosen a balloon bouquet from the website, and I talked to Jennifer to customize colors for the arrangement. Pickup was a breeze, the price was perfect, and the client (and her daughter) were thrilled. Thanks so much!! read more

We have used Balloons DC for 4 years as the main decoration ingredient of our annual fundraising gala for Let's Help Kids. James and his crew are ALWAYS friendly, efficient, prompt, and professional. And the quality of their balloons is unmatched... no flimsy ones that fall down before your event is over. I can't imagine using anyone else to make our event so fabulously colorful. http://bit.ly/1fxi3Sq read more

Submitted an order on their website to send some balloons to my niece's boyfriend who happened to be in town for his birthday. I had a teenager waiting for answers and updates about her boyfriend's balloons.... I placed the order as instructed on the site, gave all my contact information and I was told that they would contact me for payment. Fast forward to the day the balloons had to be delivered and NO ONE reached out. Early that morning I called the number on their website, and I got an answering machine that wouldn't even let me leave a message. So here I am the day of the birthday with no balloons. I had to look for another place that could deliver that day, and ended up paying a lot more just because this company wouldn't even reach out to me. Definitely do not recommend ordering from here. read more

Awesome, fast, quality, professional ! A week before Easter I ordered 50 Hi-Float pastel colored balloons for a brunch. I did all of this online through their website. A quick email confirmed my date and time. There was one question and in two exchanges all was set. One hour into my delivery window I was called to say they were on their way. Meeting the crew outside they had all my items prepared to make setup painless. I love to support local businesses whenever I can, I will definitely be using them again! read more

My organization had a fantastic experience with Balloons DC for our annual student showcase, from Jennifer taking our order and assisting with questions to James delivering and ensuring proper setup. They even added some extra balloons just in case some in the arrangements popped during the event. After having wrangled grocery store balloons in my car last year amid myriad other event preparations, the ease of placing a quick order over the phone and having everything show up on time and with great customer service was a huge relief. The balloons made our refreshments area look festive and welcoming for students and their families. Looking forward to working with Balloons DC again for future events! read more

Balloons DC dot com provided me superb service with 2 of my recent events for my daughter's graduation activities. After my first event I was so impressed I hired them for a second venue and they set it up within a week of my last minute request. They were on time for each event, even early for the 2nd one. I was in constant contact with them as we designed the plan for my venue and they came with me for site visit to get even more design insight. Both my events popped because of the superior design and color specs. They were very affordable and I highly recommend them for anyone looking to spruce up their event! read more

I've used this company once before, and had a great experience, so I called them again for a business event. The balloons were delivered on time, in the colors that we ordered, and they lasted until the next day! Balloons DC even included 3 extra balloons, just in case! I did check other companies, and found them to be competitively priced. Great doing business with them, will order from them again for our next event:) read more

Along the same lines regarding not calling back : I inquired about having balloons delivered for a party. I asked about prices and they said they would call back - they never did. read more

10 days in advance of a birthday party, I called to get a quote for some helium balloons and delivery. I needed to talk to a live person, as their web site allows you to order balloons in solid colors, but I wanted to ask about specialty balloons. The first time I called, they told me their "sales department" closes earlier, so no one was available to assist me. The second time I called (a few days later) they told me that no one from the "sales department" was available to assist me. Both times I called, they asked for my name and a phone number where a sales assistant could call me. I have never received a call back. I tried a third time, and -- you guessed it -- no sales person available. With the party now just a few days away, I will look elsewhere. I have never tried so hard in my life to give people my money for something that I really need. If they don't care to answer a few questions and take my order, they probably don't care about quality or other aspects of customer service. This place was a bust AND a huge waste of my time. read more
