Showed up late. The person who delivered did not seem to know what they were doing. She asked how I wanted the balloons displayed. As she attempted to install, she popped about half a dozen balloons and left the trash in our lawn. When I came back out, the display was not the way we requested and looked very sloppy. Ten minutes later, the display came loose. They finally sent someone back who duct taped the display unprofessionally to our new paint job. They were supposed to come by to pick up the display and discard and never showed. This was a terrible experience for our daughter's college graduation party. I cannot in any way recommend this company. read more

I ordered this for my husband's 40th - they were gorgeous, delivered on short notice and we were very pleased - lots of compliments at the party and we gave out the company's info to all our friends. This morning they picked the balloons up in accordance with a new 1 night policy. We are having a family- friendly pool party today for the birthday weekend festivities and NEVER considered the possibility someone would come pick up a $250 balloon sign less that 24 hours after dropping off. Like many before me I checked the boxes on the order form (I've read faq page, I'm not a robot, I know you can't guarantee weather, etc). Well in there was a brand new policy (I've seen them around for 2-3 days in our neighborhood for years) that for 2 summer months (June 15 - August 15) your $250 order is only valid for one night unless you special comment on the form. When I asked if we could pay to have them redelivered for a fee (less than 30 mins after pickup) they said I would have to do a whole new $250 order AND they didn't think they had staffing to accommodate. I was so so pleased with the ballooms and so so so disappointed with our kids (and my biggest kid - husband's) faces when they realized their friends coming to the pool party wouldn't get to see them. read more

We will never use this service again. We spent over $400.00 for balloon arrangements and Ballooms took the balloons down. We had the balloons less than 24 hours. They will only communicate via email only and never contacted us that the balloons were being removed or give us an option to take the balloons inside. Their website says they leave them up for 2 days. So, now we have a birthday party with no balloons. Very Very Very disappointed. Beware before ordering balloons. A very negative experience all around. I saw the photos on google and gave them a call. They didn't answer, so I emailed them. I attempted to call them multiple times during business hours and they never answer. Over email I was able to coordinate ordering numbers for the yard an a garland. I requested that they be delivered in the morning as early as possible so I could get them setup for the day. They hadn't show up by 11:30am so I gave them a call and still got no answer. They did call me back saying that my delivery would be next and and to expect them between 12:00 and 12:15. They didn't show up until 1. I did say I would attach the garland to the roof myself, but there was nothing to attach it to on the balloon. When I asked the person how I to do it they just said they didn't know, they just do the yard numbers. Two days later I see them picking up the yard numbers. This is the first indication I got that I was renting the numbers. When I went outside to complain that no one had told me that these were rented rather than purchased, the driver who worked for the company was unapologetic, saying it was on a list on the website. I let them no I called and emailed the company directly, never looking at the website. I was clearly distraught, and the employee just gave me a condescending grin, saying it wasn't their fault, and generally acting like I was stupid. Overall, it's a very unprofessional business that, despite providing a product that's exclusive purpose is to make people feel better, doesn't care how they treat their customers. read more

Very unprofessional and disappointing experience with Ballooms. I ordered a balloon arch for a baby shower at my friend's house based on a design they had already done and they delivered something completely different and didn't fix it. From the beginning the communication was terrible--I couldn't get them to call me back and everything was done on email. I sent them a photo of a previous project from their Instagram and just asked for the exact same color scheme. They confirmed, but I had to ask multiple times for an invoice. When I finally got the invoice it included a "backyard" fee that was never disclosed previously, despite having asked a lot of questions about the service via email. No one called me to confirm anything about the final design. I had asked for delivery at 11am, and they showed up around 8am without even calling me to let me know--luckily someone was there, as it was not my house. I could have gotten over all of it had they just delivered what I asked for but the final product was NOTHING like the photo I sent, and it looked horrible. The homeowner told the balloms delivery person to call me, but of course they didn't. I left them a voicemail asking if they could fix it before the party started. They emailed me hours later and said they couldn't fix it but that they'd refund me half. I'd rather just have what I asked for because we planned the entire baby shower around it... I still can't believe that no one has called me at any point throughout this transaction, especially after what happened. Don't bother with this company. read more

I wanted to give my friend's son a special gift for his special birthday. The problem was I live in NJ and they live in Austin. We do not have the land here for any kind of lawn displays and certainly nothing as awesome as the giant display from Ballooms. I emailed Ballooms as well as all the other balloon websites I was able to find. I received a reply from Ballooms in less than an hour. She answered all my questions and concerns on a daily basis. Many or most of my questions were due to my geographic distance and just being unfamiliar with the process. When the day arrived, the giant numbers were there when my friend's son woke up in the morning. The expression on his face when he saw it was priceless. The other companies I emailed answered me briefly but never replied to a question. Some of the companies never replied. If you're ok with mediocre call any of the balloon companies. But, if you want perfection and unsurpassed customer service, call Ballooms. read more
