Before starting the academy our son didn't really understand the fundamentals of soccer. He started playing AYSO and mainly played goalie because he didn't understand the game. By working with Coach Bryan, my son has become much better all around- such as running as a forward and understanding how to attack and split defenders, understanding the fundamentals, how to pass power shots, how to use the inside of his foot properly, when to use different skills, learning to never to kick with the toes, how to control a soccer ball and run with it, understanding the triangle offense scheme, when to shoot low at a goal, taking corner shots and so many more. My wife and I can see a huge overall improvement in his overall skills set and knowledge of the game all of the different fundamentals, but also his confidence as well.
