He's stronger and faster than he was when he started. My 9 y/o is a different body type, so he needed to work more on coordination and strength and although he has a hard time focusing, he really does enjoy coming and burning off the energy. I have definitely seen a difference in his athleticism since joining. We drive from Tustin. So it's not exactly close but we have tried other places near by and there is something about here that our kids connect with. I also wanted to add that to have success in these programs, parents at home must make sure the kids are eating right. Their food intake is such an important part, I may not look like the healthiest person, but definitely limit the junk food for all of us. They have the same warms ups/stretches but they always change up what they work on. Whether there are 2 kids or 20 kids in the class they will ALL get a great workout for that hour. I am definitely out of shape but, I don't think I could finish a class, which is sad for me lol But watching all the kids, even if they are struggling they get great support from the coaches. It also helps that Coach Cam and Vanessa are 2 of the genuinely nicest people I've met. Bonus, if you have little ones, they have a small play area for them. My almost 2 yr old loves it. He also likes to run around the open area near the batting cages. They have bleachers to watch from inside. Or during these summer months the big gates are open and you are welcome to sit on the side and watch there. Clean restrooms. Water fountain. They sell water or Gatorade as well.

Having a dependable…read morelocation to practice is really important and as a business owner I can appreciate everything that Earth Volleyball Offers. It's important to understand that Club Volleyball opens many more opportunities and experiences instead of just relying upon High School Volleyball. We had the option this year to be part of one of their Travel Teams and experienced our first AAU Nationals Championships in Florida. Club Volleyball gives the players so much more exposure to Colleges and I really recommend starting in 7th grade or with a 13u team. The sooner you start playing Club Volleyball, the more the experience will help as your daughter or son begin perusing more practices and tournaments. But you can start at any age and that's what makes Club Volleyball fun. I'll never forget our first year playing at the Anaheim Convention Center and this past year playing in Florida at the Orange County Convention Center. When you see over 160 Volleyball Courts laid out it's an amazing sight to behold. But remember that your daughter or son will need to more than just arrive to practice. They will need to become part of a team and Earth Volleyball really focuses on this. I look forward to another year ahead of us and hope more parents get to experience this amazing sport with their children.

Earth Volleyball Club practices the right philosophies to teach athletes not only the fundamentals…read moreof volleyball but also what it means to be a teammate on the court. Coach Sam and his staff focus on technique, volleyball IQ and help the athletes achieve their individual goals, teaching them that it isn't all about the trophies a team wins but what they learn during the process and what they can improve on. They offer conditioning training, private and semi-private sessions helping the player become the best they can become! Our daughter has played 2 seasons with Earth and ultimately achieved her goal of playing in college! If you are interested in improving your overall play and volleyball IQ in a family oriented atmosphere under a "We Got This" mentality, we highly recommend you try Earth VC!

Hello I have a 8 yr old daughter that's very interested in volleyball..We live in Orange County. I…read moreresearched Oasis and they advertised clinics for beginners. So I communicated with Torand Cheltenham and he walked me through logging in for the clinic. I arrive with my daughter who has never played any type of organized sports. There's three teenage girls in charge of the session. Kids were supposed to be split in groups of experience that wasn't done. From what I saw my child was the only beginner that day. They lined the girls up and started stretching. My daughter clearly needed help on how to do the stretching. No one moved to help her.One of the girls smirked at my child. Clueless and helpless my daughter began to cry. So rather than losing my temper I took my daughter and went home. I tried communicating with Torand via email and by phone and I left messages explaining my daughter's experience. No one has returned my call.I wanted to know if they had sessions with more mature and more attentive staff. I was ignored. Wanted to tell my story simply because not everyone's experience is great. My child was traumatized so know I have to find a group of coaches who want to build up my daughter. Not destroy her..
