I was a little hesitant because they didn't have any experience playing tennis. I signed them up in the "Beginning class" level. I also opted for the extended camp which includes the two hours of tennis and then lunch and swimming (9:30-2). They absolutely loved it! I was afraid they might not want to complete the week, but they are begging me to go back! Both my kids were exhausted by the end of the camp, but they enjoyed playing tennis and making new friends. The instructors (including Tim) are knowledgeable and great with kids. They play games that strengthen their tennis skills but at the same time are fun. My kids tell me they are "super nice and funny" which keeps them interested and motivated. A few tips if you send your kids: -- Sunscreen them up before they get there! They start right away and are out in the sun the whole time. -- Give them a little spending money. The snack bar is a fun treat! -- Make sure their shoes are comfy and fit well. They will get a workout! -- If you join the club you get a break on the fee.

If you are lucky, you will be able to play pickleball. Also there is a nightly gathering of dogs and their owners to meet, play, and converse. These courts were very popular before these new rules were implemented. People still play here some mornings. The courts are a little closer to each other so you have to BSs careful about not crashing into people in neighboring courts and hitting ATPs is a bit more difficult. The direction of the courts is so that the sunlight can be really in your face. The overhead lights at night are pretty awesome. Too bad you can't play at night easily any more.
