Everyone else told me 4 pallets of sod, he figured 4.5 but was still cheaper than the other 3 bids. One bid was double his. Looking good so far...Scheduled a time 12 days out on a Friday because that was the earliest day I could schedule to take off and I wanted to be here. He said they would start as early as they could get sod loaded and get here, about 9-9:30. Called at ten to get ETA. He thought I was someone else and began to give me excuses about how the place didn't have all the rock and he was checking somewhere else. When I told him I was supposed to have sod today he acted like he had no idea what I was talking about but quickly said his "other crew" was doing that and he would check on them. By noon I hadn't heard back. Called again and this time told that he had ordered the grass 4 days ago but King Ranch Turfgrass wasn't able to get it. But somehow he could get it Monday morning a would do it then, on a day I couldn't take off. Reluctantly agreed only after I decided to get my neighbor to supervise, Never showed and won't answer my calls or texts. Called him a few days later from a friends phone just to make sure he wasn't dead. He picked right up. Do yourself a favor and avoid!
