Insomnia Cookies stays open very late to cater to the night cravings for fresh baked cookies and ice cream. I've enjoyed Insomnia Cookies in the Boston area and in Central PA (State College). They offer online ordering, DoorDash delivery, and in-store pickup with limited seating inside. Recently, I made two visits to the Manchester Insomnia Cookies. On the first visit, the place was extremely busy and I placed an online order through their app since they had a buy 9 classic cookies get 3 classic cookies free ($23 plus tax). On the app, I picked out 12 classic cookies including Chocolate Chunk, Classic with M&Ms, Oatmeal Raisin, Peanut Butter Chip, White Chocolate Macadamia, Snickerdoodle, Sugar, Double Chocolate Mint, Double Chocolate Chunk, Double Chocolate Chunk (Vegan), Vegan Chocolate Chunk, Birthday Cake (Vegan). It took a long time to fill my online order and it was actually quicker to wait in line since staff was boxing cookies promptly for in-person ordering. There were several DoorDashers showing up to pickup orders. Once I got my box of cookies, I enjoyed them with my friend back at the house. The cookies were still warm and soft, on the sweeter side. Also, I do not recommend mail order Insomnia Cookies, which I did a few years ago during COVID and those cookies were stale, dry and crumbly. On the second visit. I was given an offer on the app for $3 off Ice Cream on a Classic Cookie, but both the app and website would not allow me to checkout. I decided to go in-person and showed staff the offer and they manually discounted my order to just under $5. I got the White Chocolate Macadamia topped with 1 scoop of Caramellionaire & 1 scoop of Peanut Butter Insomniac Tracks. I also redeemed a free cookie reward, which actually worked on the app and I also informed staff about the free cookie, which was promptly given to me, instead of the quoted 25 minute wait on the app. Overall, the fresh baked cookies at Insomniac Cookies were pretty good and sweet. The classic cookies are soft & moist, yet not cakey like Crumbl. I will have to order some of the Insomnia deluxe cookies on future visits here.
