I researched where to go to get my batteries replaced here in Bay Ridge and found nice reviews for Global. I brought two watches to start with to ensure good battery replacement. I met with Elad who quickly repaired the batteries at reasonable cost. Additionally, I returned to sell some gold pieces that didn't fit and some I just don't wear and again was given great prices for selling. Global also sells jewelry such as some Tiffany pieces and other lovely gems. It's nice to know that there is a trusted local jeweler who can assist me with repairs, selling, etc. Elad is very professional and trustworthy. I highly recommend Global Gold and Silver.

I told her about my hunt for earrings, and she understood and just let me browse. And lo and behold within minutes I found them. They were a beautiful asymmetrical gold lotus set. I got so excited, but I kept looking because, hey, maybe I can find another pair to go with them (because once you find one pair, you're kind of limiting yourself to style). And yea, I found them. The cutest diamond stud earrings. You guys, I had literally been on this search for a year and I found them in just a few minutes in this store. So, your style may not be as casual as mine, but don't worry, they have different styles in there too. The rings...I love rings. I love the idea of them (because again, lazy) and they had some really beautiful pieces in there as well. They also have a large price range, so you might just find the pieces you're looking for. They have many pieces, like mine, that are well under $100, as well as engagement-type rings over $10K. A few months after my purchase though, my beautiful lotus fell out. I went back into the store to tell her, and she remembered the style as well as the jeweler. She quickly found out that the jeweler still makes them! Thank god, because, I cannot be on that hunt again. It was really painless to do a special order (you have to put 50% down when you do those) and she was really thorough in explaining when they'd come in and will shoot me an email. Overall: cute store with unique pieces curated by lovely people.

This is such a precious piece and they made it look brand new and I can't even figure out how they resized it- there's no trace at all. It's absolutely perfect. Ronnie is so helpful and so trustworthy that since then I've been back to have my grandmother's earrings converted from clip on's to post and he's going to tighten up the loose stone in my engagment ring too. I'm so grateful to have this family owned spot in my neighborhood so I don't have to treck to the city. Even paid for Saturday early delivery. I thought all good now and I should lean back, relax and just wait for the delivery date. Two weeks or so later, several days before the scheduled delivery date I've decided to call to check if all good and on time, but to my unfortunate surprise they informed me that I never confirmed my WORK email with their order protection team and that because of that they delayed not only the delivery date but the production date as well. That email was in my spam folder, but they had my phone number and could contact me anytime if they wanted to confirm something, in addition: why do they want my work email anyway??? Fast forward to today, after countless phone calls and dozens of new "representatives" and repeating my issue nobody seems to know when I'm getting the ring, nor they have a way to direct contact to production team, this Brooklyn show room or any manager that can solve issues like this. The best thing they can do is to tell you they will submit a request and that I can call them back in 24 hours to see if they have any answer on that request. I rarely write review, but I hope that this will save someone's time dealing with this nonsense!
