Just like Andok's, I am so addicted to this lechon manok. If it wasn't for Joey de Leon's obtrusive face in every damn branch, I would truly enjoy hanging outside of every Baliwag I see just to watch the chicken go round and round the rotisserie cooking in its own fatty juices (yuuum...). And what goes so well with their lechon manok is a cold bottle of Pale Pilsen that you can gargle down while your hand reaches out for the next mouthful. The sauce is also great but I think the chicken is tasty all on its own. The sauce only makes you want to eat more white rice and feel guilty after 3 bottles of beer. But I guess worth every pound you gain. The branch in N. Domingo is also near my favorite watering hole so just a few steps to the right and you arrive at Baliwag to buy delicious chicken pulutan. read more
